Any tips for the eye line direction to bring some more of the likeness out? Not feeling it too much.
Line up the pupils with the same amount of iris and pupil showing. For the grim warrior look, center the pupils and iris, and then roll up so the iris is slightly covered by the upper eyelid. Both pupils should be in the same position, not rolling in different directions. Same if you are doing a side look. It's a little fiddly moving the eyes, be gentle.

Dampen the front hair and fluff up with a toothpick, bringing some hair forward so the forehead showing is more of a triangle, not a bowl. Look at some of the pics here to see how folks positioned the eyes and hair. Looks like you got decent hair, it just needs some dampening and fluffing and getting pushed into place with fingers/tweezers/toothpick.

Yeah, very cool if a bit limiting. Could be fun to have if they ever make all four Hobbits, too. "It comes in pints?!"

Gonna need that!!
Yeah, I luv dioramas for my figs. Bought a couple of ASMUS Hateful Eight dios to convert into 1) scene for a Jack Sparrow and 2) scene for Zorro. Which I haven't done yet :lol

Just say'in tho if the base/wall is resin, ASMUS' is a bit heavy, which is fine, but just something to be aware of.

I need a bigger one with benches so I could do the Thorin/Gandalf Bree scene.
