Anyone else find it unusual that these are still available? Did Aragorn not sell as well as what we thought?
Probably a lot of cancellations from people not committing. I got the invoices for The Batman, Superman and Aragorn all within 7 days of one another. Even I took a moment to wonder if I really need all 3.

It feels more like they made extra based on higher than expected initial sales. I think it's good that it's still available.

It was pretty silly that they were sending out the figures to "influencers" when it was not available to buy. But now that makes more sense.

Sort of, with all the InArt hype. Being a U.S.-er tho IMO he's not THAT easy to get. Maybe at least some aren't comfortable not going through Sideshow with Sideshow's payment plans.

Then there's been some uneven QC. Tho IMO it's a great sculpt, some great details, I'd say anyone who wants a Viggo Aragorn might want to consider sculpted or rooted. Outside of knock-offs prices in the future aren't gonna get better.

Anyone on the fence should absolutely grab this guy while it's still available.

WOW! What a difference the Topo cloak makes!! I was on the fence but seeing these has convinced me to order one. Now I'm actually considering a second rooted Aragorn for a solo figure display....
I've also been pondering the mOjingToys tavern diorama. The big issue there is the height exceeds Detolf shelves and I've already changed heights on a couple of shelves to accommodate other taller items. I'm thinking of taking a chance that I can work out how to cut down the height of the wall by removing some of the bottom where it fits to the floor......

Standard arrived. Very happy with him but yes, that shiny hair is hard to get right in photos. In hand he's really impressive. The sculpt is amazing and captures Viggo really well. Would I pay AU$900 for the rooted hair version? Yeah, nah.... I can't really see these as being streets ahead of Hot Toys to garner that sort of price, but it is certainly a high quality figure. I just applied to cancel my pre-order today! Honestly, I'm just sick of waiting for InArt to deliver.

I know, I know, I should be patient - but honestly, there are just more interesting products coming out, and while there are some nice photos online for this figure, there are an equal amount of "meh" photos - where I'm just like, yeah - time to move on.

Another honesty pill - I needed to swallow - while I love LotR, I've never really wanted to bulid a LotR collection - and definately not in 1/6 scale. I got caught up in the hype - and (stupidly) decided that I needed to get this. Not really to keep up with Jones - but more because if this figure was going to be some ground breaking moment in 1/6 history - I wanted to be able to say "I have that in my collection" - again, I know, shallow - yep, I agree.

My “Topo” Ranger cloaks arrived today in the mail from OSK. I wasn’t sure what to expect as far as packaging, but mine arrived in clear bags in a generic yellow bubble mailer. Nothing indicating they were produced by Topo, not even a card. I recall my Topo “The Batman” drifter set and helmet had Topo packaging and a Topo card. Curious if others received their cloak the same as mine…?

Regardless, the Ranger cloak presents nicely after a heavy water misting to remove errant folds in the fabric. The cloak drapes really well with just the right amount of weathering along the bottom fray.

I picked up two InArt Aragorns from OSK - a rooted and a sculpted version with the intent of always cloaking the latter. I could just never see myself cloaking the rooted version. Still disappointed that the InArt Ranger cloak was never included with all purchases of Aragorn : /

I love seeing all the images people post, even if redundant. So here’s some more for those that feel the same…

Happy ‘25 all!

Where did you order from that you are still waiting on this to ship out?

A company in Belgium - LCDN.

They originally had it scheduled to ship in 12/2023 (which was for sure bogus) - then it was Q4/2024 - and now they're saying Q1/2025.....I don't know if it's a problem with InArt or LCDN - but I'm done.

To be fair, I've had horrendous delays previously dealing with Queen Studios (the mother company to InArt) so I shouldn't really be surprised. It's one of the main reasons that Aragorn was my LAST pre-order from either InArt or Queen Studios.

TNS has both versions in stock
508$ for rooted
368$ for sculpted
They must have restocked recently. I would have preferred ordering from TNS.

I was scouring the internet for the rooted version and got one for $469 shipped. Hopefully all goes well there. Ordered from a lesser known website I wouldn’t recommend here.

I'm also curious why he isn't sought after. Can't sell my second figure at retail price so it's definitely annoying. Gandalf seemed the most popular of the two as that one sold faster.

I can still buy this at close to retail in HK but that'll be impulsive as i have no attachment to LOTR. It's available in many other shops in HK.

That's mainly what I'm thinking is going on. Many who ordered aren't fully attached to the films and might have ordered on impulse. It's a great figure and certainly a great piece, I'm sure I'll have more luck once he's completely sold out everywhere.

I think you will too. There’s many LOTR fans that don’t know these figures exist yet.

That's also true. The gentleman I sold my Gandalf to who lives in my area only recently learned of InArt and jumped on Gandalf the minute I put the post up. He also was eager to get future InArt figures like Aragorn, Superman etc.
