I opened Aragorn, and everything impressive aside, I am really ******* annoyed by this.

The part where the hair meets the sculpt was left unrooted, and very poorly painted at that.

This can't be right, is it?
That's how mine was as well. Once I washed and styled the hair, I used some dark brown acrylic paint to touch up the sculpted area some. Looks much better now and more seamless than before. Definitely shouldn't be something we have to do though.

Thanks!

Out of curiosity looking back at this thread, I see a lot of talk about first or second batch. Is there anyway to know what figure is a second batch or is it purely how it looks?
Purely how it looks once you have it in hand. There are no clear markings saying which batch it is from prior to ordering unless the seller says so and you take them for their word and/or their pics show a clear image of the sculpt to verify and compare with others who have one from later batches.

I also opened Superman, and he has a nasty visible mold line along the side of his head, and some shoddy paint on his hair as well. Not sure if Kit can help me sort a replacement, or if it's even worth the extra cost / headache.

I wanna say I'm done with Inart for good after this.

It's a shame because I was really impressed with Aragorn's body. The outfit, the hands, the boots especially. The weathering is well done, and adds a lot of realism.

Sidenote. I was surprised with how light the duster is.

Definitely aspects to applaud about their work. Just seems there's no getting around the inconsistent quality, corner cutting, and shoddy factory production. That's 4/4 now that I've been disappointed.

Maybe it's me who's overly picky. I don't know.

This is why I've been so on the fence about getting this figure, the thought of spending $700+ (CAD) and getting one of the heads with poorly done hair just scares me. I didn't even know about this sculpted hairline issue until today so that puts me off even more 😭
