My one and only order from KGH was shipped with Hong Kong post and it took about 3 months to get to the US for a 1/6 Assassins Creed figure. Also, be prepared for one side of the shipping box to have nothing but stamps all over it
Okay thank you--all the hype from grabbing a Gandalf will need to be tempered as I still have 2.5 months to go. Tracking still has it in Hong Kong but not updated in forever. Excited to join all of you in the glorious "futzing" of the grey one!

I just don't understand why the big companies aren't making cool stuff like this. (I mean, it would never be THIS nice, of course! But still!) Seems like there's a market for mass produced dios. A bit of Rivendell? Lothlorien? Front door of Bag End?

Will you be selling these, TwistedMetal? Do you have a thread?

I sell all my works in unlimited quantities. But not here.

Holy forking shirt-balls!
How much and where do we order - I'm not joking, this is stunning

Mine came today and I opened it up like 30 minutes ago. A few things to share that I do not like.
1. The base - those magnets are useless. They should have used stronger ones as with these, the figure can easily top over.
2. The gripping hands - checked all hands and only those two - left and right, have issues properly fitting in the pegs. Seems the holes are not deep enough.
Apart from those two above, I really like him. One issue I noticed - one of the hands had its magnet fall out. Any glue you would recommend to glue it back? For the moment, I have used iFixit tweezers to push it back in and it stays, but might come off again, so better glue it.
Fun thing. It came in the shipper that Kit used, then there was another InArt shipper, then another and finally the figure box itself. Felt like opening those russian nested dolls 🤣🤣🤣

I put clear gorilla mounting tape on the bottoms of his shoes where the toe box is. Really helped a lot with the stability. He doesn’t wobble anymore.

I like my Gandalf too but it’s disappointing to hear that the hands are an issue with the later batches. My left grip hand just falls right out. And the pointing finger magnet was out of the hand as well.

I had the same experience. Seems like the hands not fitting is a common issue. The magnets fell out of the hands of mine as well. I'm not fussed about putting them back in as I don't really think they did anything. The friction of the peg in the hand is what really keeps them in place.

I was also amused by the abundance of boxes opening this thing up.

Yep, the more I've messed with my Gandalf the more I've really been struggling with some on the hands going in all the way. I think my issue has been with the gripping hands as well. Sometimes they will just drop off until I really force them in there.

later batches.
I will post this to InArt. I have told them on several occasions to watch for their QA. It is good that they are looking to increase production, but if this is at the cost of quality, then it is a really bad thing and can damage their reputation quite a bit.

I've had my Gandalf for about 2.5 - 3 months now and haven't had any issues with the base. He has been holding up the sword and staff most of that time. The magnets dont seem as strong as the Joker base but are doing the job. Also haven't had issues with that base either. Although I really wish they would just make the whole base magnetic.

Well, cover me impressed. They guys included info about the battery and if everyone had read the manual (RTFM!) they would not be asking InArt questions about after sales issues. They clearly state it there to contact the store you purchased the figure from. And only reach out to InArt if you receive no reply from the shop.
Another thing is that according to the included card, my fig was manufactured in August 2023... Talk about long delivery......
Oh, did I mention the sculpt is a KILLER?!? Down to the age spots on the skin. Eat that, Asmus!

And yes, I sniffed the sculpt. Has a distinct smell like of some styling gel

Tested all hands, to see if I will have issues with the magnets or fitting. The result was that the open palm hand magnet fell out (I pushed it back in and its good for now) and the two gripping hands do not peg in fully. They still stay firm on the pegs, but not as much as the other hands. No other issues with the fig or accessories. And yeah, will again mention the weak base magnets. But my plan is to have him sitting on a tree log anyway 😜

My Inart Gandalf has arrived and unfortunately the head has some small paint defects on the nose... has this happened to anyone else with these new batches?
