I’m going to have a beautician certificate by the time I get done with these Inart figures. That aside, does anyone else find Gandalf and Aragorn look better with damp hair getting close to flat but with a bit of the curl and waves? Almost like a dread or clumped look for Gandalf with thick bunches.

I think it matches the movies so well cause they are always seemingly fighting in damp places or in weather. These two photos are my muses and for context.

Bunch of dirty pot smokin hippies, lol.

Man, you guys are making me jealous with all of these awesome photos. Ive been scouring ebay for a possible deal for weeks for this guy to no avail. Its crazy how much and how quickly he shot up in prince.

I don't know, it's hard to say for me. Harry Potter is one of my favorite franchises, but the Gandalf and Aragorn unboxing experiences were great.

I had a few minor QC issues with Gandalf and none with Harry or Aragorn, but every time I look at that Gandalf headsculpt it amazes me.

I would say total experience I would go Harry, Aragorn, then Gandalf. Overall figure alone probably go Gandalf, Aragorn, then Harry but all very close.

Nice simple way to do it and if you did it how I did on my Joker it's reversible in case you ever decide to sell Gandalf later.
I basically unscrewed the backplate and removed the center toggle from the eye pegs. Can quickly be put back together if need be. But I don’t plan on selling the IA figures I’ve gotten haha

Not a perfect solution (looking like piano keys) but better than before.

Now, Gandalf can be placed pretty much anywhere on the base and make a connection. These rectangular bar magnets allow him to scoot along the surface from front to back instead of being stuck dead center.

I separated each magnet with a piece of 1/4inch eva foam to help keep the magnets from attracting to themselves.

Now I just need to get a piece of museum board, cut it to shape of the bottom of the base to close it up and have a nice flat surface instead of the original wobble. Maybe then I can finally enjoy this figure.

On the topic of display stands, Cro Customs just showed off his new LOTR Base that looks pretty elegant

That much magnetism long-term in close proximity to you will give your brain cancer, you know that, yes?

It will also, over time, slowly pull down the lead paint until Gandalf's face looks like it is drooping. You know that, yes?
Everything is going to give us cancer. If it’s not these magnets it will be our phones
