I've seen these movies dozens and dozens of times and I JUST noticed that he actually has the scarf in Fellowship. He's not wearing it, but it's hanging off the side of his wagon when he arrives in the Shire.

Almost 25 years and I'm still noticing details!

Thankyou! It's the stock cloak he comes with, but I've simply water treated it to get it draping nicely and set in place when dry. I've also lightly weathered the cloak with various Tamiya Weathering Kit powders.
