One reason why it may be a no deal for me. At that price I don't want the headache!

Well it'd be one thing if InArt had magnificent quality control, superb customer service. But they don't. And hair aside, my other issue would be IMO their choice of cloth could be better, tho they have some really nice details too. It's like my Aragorn costume LOOKS good on the shelf, but there's a lot that feels like inexpensive nylon or polyester, like his tunic. Which is too short anyway. 😁

I haven't received my Aragorn yet to voice a response.....

Seeing how good this look i think pre orders gonna starts maybe at the end of this year or early 25. Really hes looking perfect. Passed on Legolas and Nazgul but im all in for Thorin

if he doesn't come with this, I'm not interested

only other thing I want from those movies would be this
The_Hobbit_-_The_Battle_of_the_Five_Armies_-_D_in.jpg

make these...take my money!

One of the reasons I love the Hobbit movies is that Gandalf the Grey is in all three movies. I prefer Gandalf the Grey over Gandalf the White. If HT's is rereleasing Terminator figures and Blitzway is rereleasing Ghostbusters then I can see Hobbit Gandalf around the corner. Only problem, he would be Gandalf the Expensive!!!

I prefer GTG but very happy with my ASMUS GTG with head upgrade.

I'd buy Thorin and Dain (think ASMUS should make Dain and Dwalin too) but I'd be happy to be done with this company.

Yeah, I'm bitter.:taz😁 But the thing is, I hadn't paid much attention to InArt's return/exchange policy, hadn't been in the Gandalf thread either.

So why wouldn't my "premium" figure with the premium price be pretty d*mn flawless out of the box, and why wouldn't customer service be premium as well? Ironically, if and when the time comes, I should order 2 Thorins and gamble one of them looks good.:banghead

I’m really waiting for this to go up as a PO. Sooner the better lol
Yeah, but wondering if InArt has too much on their plate already, with too many different character lines.:dunno

IMO ASMUS' Thorin is amazing; pulling off all the small armor scales; detailed boots with a wash of metallic, even the pants had embroidered "patches" + diecast Orcrist, key, the pipe, nice sculpt.

Honestly for me the InArt is a splurge of sorts, because my favorite ME character. Also my Thorins have held up beautifully including the dwarf bodies. E.g. Thorin isn't the easiest character to pull off, costume wise.

I agree with you on the Asmus Thorin. I think he’s their best middle earth figure.
I really think they did a great job on him.

InArts version looks amazing and I think the extra time they took on him paid off. That head sculpt is awesome!
And also I love his character so for me he’s a must have.

Ah the good 'ol days - I remember the awe I felt unboxing. For one thing, I'd been thinking I'd never get a 1/6 Thorin at all, unless I went the custom route $$$$$$$ can't imagine the cost.

Then ASMUS knocks it out of the park. At this point I own more than one (always planned to do some custom work one day). So sure, InArt, I hope they follow through making him I am really curious and it's a great sculpt. And I'd love Thorin's cloak even if he doesn't wear it for that long, IMO it adds to the myth e.g. the unhomed dwarves of Erebor, so he'd have a cloak when wandering.

So yeah InArt will get my money, even if Thorin is pricey. 😮

If he came with the cloak and bag that would be great! Could pose him arriving in the rain at the Prancing Pony scene
