Again these films have gotten progressively worse, and should have ended with Last Crusade, so everyone is right to be on guard, I am. Yet I also love the character and have some hope in this director, who seems to want to give him a fair end. And hopefully not "fix" = remove his balls, as per the Disney Story Group, or see him replaced with some crap derivative version.

Maybe the whole Dial of Destiny Mcguffin as the name implies, at some point offers multiple future vision ...
They at some point shot several and Williams is still like - "We have maybe another ending to shoot and to record", yet not actually changing any original ending. Likely Jones (as per his Father) chooses letting the offer of pre-destiny supernatural "prize" go, to instead always make his own still unwritten destiny/adventure.
Which seems a fitting non-end "end" for Jones.:wink1:

Cue haters.:gun:cuss

If it was Mr Mangold saying "maybe" in front of a crowd I'd sort of agree, but this level of "maybe" really isn't for a composer to speculate on. He's more someone who's told what's going on and what he needs to do, like a production designer. And that's pretty clearly what's happened here, even if it's just a possibility at this point.

"Maybe" is certainly a qualifier which I acknowledged, but you've also conveniently dodged the obvious: where on earth did the ideas of "another ending to shoot" and "in a couple of weeks" pop into Mr Williams' head from then? (If not from producers calling him...)
I addressed that. He may have been told something but the situation is fluid and things keep changing. Maybe he doesn’t know exactly what is being reshot and that’s why he said maybe an ending. You are trying to turn his non confirmation into a confirmation using your own made up ideas as proof. That is not confirming anything. This is exactly why fake news exists.

To sum it up. You are trying to twist his words into a truth by using made up theories and possibilities with no proof. I’m taking the man’s words at face value because that is the only tangible proof we have. They maybe reshooting the ending or they might not.

You still haven’t answered my questions.

Nah, that's not "fake news." That's a whole different thing.

This is "angry neckbeard nerds on youtube clickbait" news.

These guys will say anything for clicks. And the more negative and scornful, the more clicks they get.

Meanwhile a whole new “unwoked” ending was just filmed

:rotfl

You know Hollywood would never lie lol

They give kids drugs and **** kids but LIE OH GOD NOOOO :rotfl
Yeah lying AND insulting fans who are justifiably skeptical instead of just saying "we liked our first ending but then realized we could do an even BETTER one" is just dumb. Gilroy said that RO's original ending was a mess and no one ever pretended otherwise and the final result was met with thunderous applause so just say they're doing that again. But as RJ proved once you start insulting fans online and making it personal then they're going to leave and never come back.

I love that Mangold slaps back... but personally I wouldn't waste my time.

Every night on the news there's some issue with these types of trolls... and have you ever seen what these guys look like? No wonder they're so unhappy and linger in their basement in the flickering light of their screens. They used to just be quiet and disappear over time but now they have a platform to scream and/or get totally obsessed with insane nonsense.

Wait you see actual footage of these guys on the news?

"We now cut live to Jessica Carlisle's house where her son Brandon types feverishly away at another scathing critique of Mangold's latest footage..."

I understand posting in a group forum where people discuss or bicker or argue like our wonderful home here... but I never understood the "screaming into the wind" platform of Twitter. At its creation it seemed like a place that would devolve into the loudest, meanest, craziest voices win. Just like TikTok devolved into every teenage girl's mirror.

Yep, Last Crusade should have been Fords last outing. The series could have then got a reboot, with Chris Pine as the new Indy. If Bond can do it...so can Jones.

Wait, was TikTok supposed to be for a demographic other than teenage girls?
Call me old (but I'm not really) But I hate Facebook and tiktok. Couldn't give a crap what you ate for breakfast or just selfied, some things are best left unsaid and unseen. I come back here to discuss things in common territory and with people that love movies and popculture, just like me. It can be serious sometimes, but mostly it's good fun
