That pic reminds me of this one from the first Indy film

I found these pics a while back of Ford and Indy's ladies at a junket in Chicago for the Indiana Jones DVD set that was released a few years ago.

So, are you saying that simply because they don't look 30 any more, they should go hide in a dark room somewhere?

Get real, people. People age. All of us.

Harrison Ford is still Indy, and he always will be.

I think he looks pretty damn good for his age. But people are going to hate this no matter what.

I guess I'm one of the few actually looking forward to it.

Everyone who can do 100 sit-ups a day raise your hand... :lol

Harrison does and he looks just fine to me...

Ok, to tell it more optimistically: "Time is the school in which we learn"

Did not want to offend old people - just noticed what time can do to you seeing the differences of him siting in his chair.

Although I don't usually do regular sit-ups (they can be pretty bad for your back -- and I have a defective disc :(). I do ab crunches, with and without weights. I also do 100 push-ups a day. And I work out at the gym 3-4 times a week. Any of you whippersnappers want to arm wrestle? :)

WOW! As soon as I looked at the photo the Raiders march popped into my head. I can't WAIT for this one! Indy's BACK!!! :chew

I believe those are from the DVD Junket that took place at AFI in Hollywood in October of 2003. (I know, because I was fortunate enough to be there).

Unless of course they did the EXACT same thing in Chicago, which I very much doubt. The whole Harrison Ford appearance was a huge surprise (even to the actresses) and he did it as a favor to Lucasfilm. He literally showed up on his motorcycle, threw on the jacket and fedora, made a grand entrance while Karen Allen was speaking onstage, posed for pics with the ladies of INDY, and was gone within a matter of minutes. It was surreal yet great at the same time. :rock

if they are smart, they won't get their hopes up and will go in expecting nothing special.

if they expect to feel the same magic they felt in 1981 when they were 10 or 11 years old, then yea, they'll probably hate it.

Ok, so I guess he can still pull off the Indy look. I'll just finish this plate of crow and start getting excited for the new movie.
