I found this image of a young Harrison Ford and it seems the irises a a tad to large, and perhaps the eye openings as well, at least his left eye. They need smaller glass eyes and to make some resculpting around the eye opening(s) and maybe add eyelashes, then it will most likely look much better.

I have the Raiders PF and is perfectly happy with it, I can not aford a Legendary Scale nor have I the place to display one.

I agree, but if that's what they were going for, they should have posed him without the jacket and dirty him up more.

I'll be very disappointed if the Indy on horse statue has been canned. Was really looking forward to it and a reveal at SDCC was a logical time to unveil it. It's been months and months since it was sneaked.

Ugh, this whole situation has put a sour taste in my mouth. The one license that I care deeply about, more than any other Sideshow offers, and it's practically one disappointment after another.

I was wondering if the problem was that it had glass eyes. Sideshow is too good to paint irises too large, and they seemed way too dark in the previous shots. However, it seems they didn't quite have the right size glass eyes, but went with what they could find anyway, and this is the uncomfortable result. I'm sort of relieved it wasn't a bad paint job.

On that note, the skin paint job looks very good. I can't tell if its still using the same translucent effects as Obi Wan, but it's still quite good all around. I'm much more impressed with it now. Glass eyes and no eyelashes though.... gotta be fixed.

OK, I made a quick Photoshop job, it may not be perfect but I think it does look better.

I know I shouldn't post the original image but do it so you can compare the images wasy without scrolling up.

Seems like SSC's this year is disappointing all around at SDCC. Every thread I go into folks are really down on the sculpts and paint jobs. And this one is like the ultimate fail due to its ridiculous price point.

i dunno, it was the most exciting SSC display ive seen in the last few years. the ironman mark vii 1:1 bust was the most disappointing for me but colossus pf, storm pf, hulk maquette, batman pf, supes pf, ivy pf, black widow pf, elvira pf, master chief pf, and several others looked awesome. i also loved that they had all their comic avenger and comic x-men PF lineups there. oh, and galactus maquette and dr doom lsf were sweet too.

Wow. That's really subtle, but it makes a world of difference, man. Nice job. I think if the piece had looked like that in the first place, this thread might have taken on a much different tone.
