Yes, that's exactly what I mean. If they did that it's in EXTREMELY bad form, imho.

Otherwise, what exactly is the difference between "Inclusive" and "Exclusive" then??

Yeah I agree with you. Set a number and stick to it. Whether it sells out in ten minutes or ten days. The only reason I could think they would change it is because there was no notice given on when exactly it would go up for sale. I doubt it's so they can just make more money, but maybe...

Actually, I am really surprised this wasn't an "inclusive" release....has Sideshow dropped that concept for ordering? We haven't seen it since, what...Maul?

Totally, should have been inclusive and sold through for days... It's Indy.

Does anybody else think that his head looks just a little large in the picture. It kinda makes his legs look on the smallish side to me.

i think it's the angle/position....watch the video for the figure on SS's website:

The Regular is still there for the stragglers. :monkey3

But so is the exclusive. Get the torch and dart!

Had this been a PPO, they probably would have stuck with the edition size. I think that an unannounced preorder of this magnitude going up and selling out would have really upset people who got to work, checked on the site and discovered that Indy had already come and gone. I wonder if they have made this a de facto inclusive edition by putting it back up and letting it sell for a while, letting everybody get a chance to order it...

But it wasn't. And to retroactively make it a psuedo-Inclusive by arbitrarily upping the edition size is just not cool and reeks of opportunism to me. Especially if the ES was the assumed 1,981. :nono

(That is, if this is what actually happened)

Don't forget, there has been a Regular Edition for sale during this whole time, too. It's not like anyone would be missing out on Indy, just the exclusive torch and dart.

Yeah no PPO equals no set exclusive size. I prefer the PPO rather than this it's up whenever stuff with Indy and Gandalf. Maybe Sideshow didn't want their servers fried by Indy fans. Who knows why they decided to do it this way for Toyfair.

Upping the number of exclusives is 'for the fans', 'to be sure everyone has a chance to get one' and has nothing to do with $$$ right? :monkey3 :monkey1

It was sold out when I went there and I got on the wait list. Now it's back up.

I ordered one and then almost cancelled it immediately as I realized that I could have used my reward points. I went back and ordered it again-- this time with the reward points (a nice $15.09 INDY:D) so I'm sure that you'll get him on the wait list. My first cancellation will probably count as at least ine that'll go through. Like most items if you get on the wait list early enough items seem to become available--- especially when we get near the shipping date and some people start to check out their finances.

Personally I think I'll be able to swing the $15.09.:monkey3

Seems that there was some confusion when the piece mistakenly disappeared from the site. There was NO edition size set for this Exclusive prior to it going up. It was merely a glitch in the ordering system. There has been NO 'arbitrary changing' of the edition size, trust me. It's the first in the line, so they're not sure quite sure what to expect, thus the edition size was not pre-set - no expectations at all actually, although you can trust that they are watching it to make sure it doesn't go TOO high! :duff

Love the consipiracy theories though, keep 'em comin' ;)
