I just put in my pre-order for Indy a few minutes ago. I'm thrilled to see Sideshow's version! I think, in my opinion that the likeness of Harrison Ford IS there with Sideshow's. Yeah, back when Toys McCoy put their Indy out I thought it was the best. I never could afford it. I love the accessories they've included with this "Raiders" or ROTLA Indy. I like the addition of having two different sets of both gloved, and bare hands. I also like the head that you can take off the hat, and the one with the fixed fedora hat on it.
I know most of us, myself included, will "age" his leather jacket. In Sideshow's pictures today it just looks too "pretty" and clean....don't you think? I am going to distress my Indy's jacket, and possibly his boots too.
My dream of owning a 12" Indy was one I have had most of my life since first seeing the old Kenner Indy back at a Target store with my Mom in 1982, and she refused to buy it...for only $10.00! So, since then I've wanted a good one. I have a good one now, with custom accessories and a custom "Frontline" headsculpt. But I want the best one I can get. I think it is Sideshow's that is the best one "in my book". I never could afford to pay the $300 or more for the Toys McCoy Indy, and Sideshow's now looks SO much better to me!
I'm pretty broke now, so I gotta start saving up for this Indy now. Wow, it sucks not having any money! But I will may this work somehow....

3000 is probably too much for an exclusive. Remember Dusty saying they'd be careful it didn't go "TOO high". 3000 would be "too high" for me.

I think if they were going to stay in that range, they would go with 1981. But if they were going to do that, they would have done that right from the start, which is why I'm guessing 3k.
