I got a confirmation email as well. This figure still looks awesome, and I guess they did go into it not as an inclusive but with a bit of wait and see about setting and edition size.

Probably the same as what happened with Gandalf... although seems he's not quite as popular.

I always thought that SSC made the exclusive versions as a way of giving die-hard collectors something back for buying directly from the site instead of going through other parties.

Now, if you prefer to flip items, then that's another thing, but to me, unless it is serialized, exclusivity isn't as big a deal.

It's almost as ironic as a Masterpiece Starscream released at Wal-Mart. Exclusive to everyone.

Or maybe, i just fail to see why i would be ticked off if the guy next to me gets the same figure i do that we both paid the same price to get from the same place because we liked the same figure from the same movie from the same company.

It might be the price increase that's not so popular in terms of Gandalf... The increase in $$$ might have made some people shy to pull the trigger.

I called my Father in law from work and had him order one for me. Man, I was hoping he'd be around $70. It is good to know he's on a nice new body.

Although I love these movies, Indy from Raiders is probably all I'm going to get.

NOTE: people were not shy to pull the trigger when it came to Indy.:lol:D

No doubt. I was at work and one of the guys i talk comic books, video games, and collectibles with entered the room, and for some weird reason, i thought... OH CRAP! toyfair! so i got to a PC and saw the Indy thumbnail, and looked to see if it was wait listed or available, and got it within one minute or so before the original limited qty appeared.

and by the time i clicked submit, i looked at the price and said, hmm. ok. it's indy.

Hahaha, na he's cool, that's just what my regualr radio station calls him after he gave this retarded ass interview with them. He called Transformers "Dead to real".

Funny thing is, I didn't even know I spelled it that way until you said something! :rotfl

I'm frakked off I missed the preorder - thought there'd be a little more warning than there was. Oh well, on the wait list at least.

Incidentally, how can it be sold out if they haven't determined the edition size yet? And does this make it more likely waitlisters will be converted?

I have a feeling the EX number will be 1981. Just a guess, but the way they have been doing the Star Wars EX, doesn't sound to far off. But I got 1 EX and 2 Reg. So many posing possibilities. Still cheaper than what I had bid on the Toys McCoy Indy.
