I'm bummed they changed Cole so much, but I'll mostly likely buy this because I loved the first.

Looks pretty cool. Played the first one again about a month ago! I prefer the look and design of Cole from the first one, and also the voice of him from the first one. Will still check it out though!

The game looks like it could be a lot of fun and I loved the first one. I do agree that I preferred Cole's look and voice from the original game. He looks a little Nathan Drakeish now.

With all the negative comments about them changing Cole's look it makes you wonder why they chose to go for such a cliche route.

I liked the smart ass, slightly bad-ass shaven cole with a gruff smokers voice. As opposed to this skater/emo looking cheap rip off of Nathan Drake.

Yep with new voice comes new voice actor, I just don't get it. keep everything the same except the main character?! Well it's suppose to be the same dude but it isn't.

I just don't get the the redesign they keep hyping and talking it up as if it's amazing, it's a yawn fest, there is nothing cool, or interesting about him due to the redesign of the character.

I hate to say this but it looks like they dolled him up to model/ pretty boy status to get girls to play this or something. Yeah lets make him a preppy dashing looking guy, because dudes don't want to play as an ugly ass bald guy.

Makes no sense to me. Makes me want to storm the gates of Sucker Punch.

I don't mind the redesign. There's already enough bald, angry types in games these days. I don't like a few aspects of the new design (the necklaces, for one) but generally new Cole still looks like Cole but with a sunnier disposition. Seriously, he looks the same, just with longer hair, different threads, and a smile. I'd rather have Cole look and act more like Nathan Drake than Nathan Hale (the bland guy from Resistance).

I do take issue with recasting the voice actor though. That's a no-no in my book. Unless it's a remake, a sequel that retains the same protagonist should retain its voice actor.

I'll give him a chance, still. Might grow on us.

Actually, I was googling around for some art of the new cole when I stumbled onto a news story on 1UP.com stating that Sucker Punch is aware of the reaction towards Cole's new design and that it might not be final:

I was wondering the same thing...Maybe they'll offer two possible beginnings? Not sure how they're going to work the morality system in this one...

Really excited for this game though Only let down for me so far is the change in voice actor

Perhaps the cliche of angry bald guy is a bit apparent, but the redesign is just as if not more generic, like preppy looking, wise cracking, witty one liner, sure ____ smiling pretty boy.
