Damn, I bet I could get loads of ass at a Hanna Montana concert if I took that kid:rock

Where can I get one:confused:

:rotfl

Funniest thing I've seen in months!!

I can see the director. "Ok, camera ready? Now throw the kid in the pool!!"

Is this for real? Who would do this to an infant? Seriously. If you don't want little Johnny to drown in the family pool there is an easier (and cheaper) solution: keep an eye on the little bugger!

Wow, people. :google

In a way you're right. However, aparently still lots of kids drown each year because someone isn't attending them. I would rather see them learn how to survive than rely on the parents...

I learned to swin at a young age. Once I got out of the bag, it was no problem.

But seriously - that's fantastic. If I had a kid and a pool - that is definitely something I'd do. Teaching such complex motor skills so early is probably good for their coordination later in life too.

I know I wouldnt be able to do an impressive running man in the club after 15+ beers at 2am if I hadnt learned to swim as an infant.... :monkey1

It looks like you are trying to start a fight. Stop it.

Ignorance is never a solution. In this case education is prevention. Since a baby spends its earliest moments submerged in fluid, it makes perfect sense to extend that ability to post natal swimming ability rather than hoping that "the little bugger" will never encounter water on a planet that is covered 7/9 with water.

Of course if you want to prevent your own kids from learning to swim, well, that is up to you.

:rotfl

That was hilarious!!!! :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Why not use one of these?

Sorry Irish, but that's a great idea and one that should have a strong following, I was taught to swim really young! I love the water and swimming. I'll be teching my children to swim as young as possible!

I have no problems whatsoever with teaching young children (including infants) how to swim. In fact, my mother taught swimming lessons during the Summer when I was growing up so I started early as well. And my kids were all able to swim by the time they were 3.

I just find it beyond unsettling to essentially throw an infant in the water and just film him screaming his lungs out for 5+ minutes for what is essentially an infomerical.
