Handsome, powerful and athletic, with a friendly smile and an assortment of ironic expressions, Burt Reynolds is remembered as one of the most popular and best-loved American actors. With a successful film and TV career spanning over 60 years, Reynolds played a wide variety of roles, switching with great skill and talent from westerns to adventure, from comedy to action. A tough and witty *** symbol, he triumphed on the big screen in the 1970s and ?80s with films that marked an era in Hollywood cinema and beyond.

The Longest Yard, Deliverance, The Cannonball Run, and the 1977 blockbuster Smokey and the Bandit are just some of his many successful performances.

Among American muscle cars, the Pontiac Trans-Am undoubtedly remains the most iconic, coveted and best-loved of them all. The undisputed queen of beauty and power, it has been the star of very many films and TV series. With its unmistakable, intricately-decorated livery, its distinctive removable roof panels and unrivalled toughness, the Pontiac remains a timeless car, one of those automobiles that spans generations and retains its untarnished beauty, hallmarked by its universal appeal. We have worked hard to faithfully reproduce every detail, without neglecting any facet of its now mythical perfection. This is a step forward in model cars, offered to all collectors as part of the ?Cars Legacy Collection? with pride and enthusiasm.

Cool idea. 1:12 or 1:10 scale might have been nicer to get a good level of likeness and detail for the actors. Not sure how well 1:18 holds up in production.

Just looking at this it’s got the wrong firebird on the bonnet. This is the 1980 version, not the ,77 Bandit special. Burt’s been sculpted withthe first movie hat and clothes on (flared jeans included) and no head rest on the hat

hopefully this will be cheaper than what Iron Studios is charging for their vehicle statues - $2 Grand for the Delorean if i recall correctly.

While disgustingly overpriced, Iron Studios' DeLorean is a 1:10 piece, whereas this is 1:18.

Thanks for the clarification, must of overlooked that.

Not a huge fan of appreciate Smokey and the Bandit but I can appreciate the artistry that went into this and tempted to buy.

I have a million K.I.T.T. collectibles but I wish someone would produce something high-end like this Smokey and the Bandit with the "The Hoff" in the Trans Am, complete with sound effects and lights.

I could do without Burt….and wake me up when they do the General Lee
You're probably gonna be sleeping a while unless you just want an orange '69 Charger with 01 on the doors. There's pretty much zero chance of getting a proper General as we remember nowadays.
I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Infinite went with the '81 is because of the Confederate flag on the front license plate of the '77 Bandit. Although the near unwatchability of Smokey and the Bandit 2 and the cheaper licensing could've been a factor too I suppose. :lol

Solid points all around.

There's a bunch of cars I can think of, without any chance of being done due to lack of any real popularity. Except of course for the almost obligatory Bullitt mustang. Maybe the '70 Nova from Deathproof...at least its a Chevy.
