thank you much HK! you know the messed up thing is, i already had a Medi Snake that had all the parts i needed to turn this into Eater (harness, holster, radio, ect) but for some reason i thought all that came w/ the Inflames so i just now sold my Medi lol. had that Medi listed for months too, and the whole time i had the parts i needed but didn't know that til yesterday.
oh well, i'll just pretend that there was some DLC made for the Snake Eater that added some of this Inflames gear to the game lol! i really do like all this new gear on Snake. i was not gonna buy a PSP just for Peacewalker but i guess i could get it now for PS3

Wow and sad to hear that. I bet it sucks to let the game accurate parts go in such a manner but Metal Boss by itself is a pretty gd figure especially with the eye-patch on. Let us all be patient fot HT releases but I really dont know how long more we need for HT other Metal Gear figures.
It was a nightmare for me to get that eyepatch on. One slight touch of it and it's out of place and you can see his eye
So glad the Hot Toys version has the patch sculpted or glued on, can't tell from the photos.

LoneWolf no offence but maybe u can try putting the Metal Boss HS on your custom Big Boss and it may look even better. Nice display of your figures by the way.
In Asia, the Inflames figures are pretty popular but apparently in this board, I can see almost ZERO interest for the figures even befor HT release their metal gear figures.
What else has Inflames done? The first I've heard of them was the BDU figure and now the Armor Ver. If they start dropping out of MGS figs that would be great but please no more Peace Walker figs.

To be fair they are the uglyest of the MetalGear figure imo(along with RAH OldSnakes face)

The face of RAH Old Snake isn't bad at all. But, it does need a custom repaint to look good.

. Looks like he was slapped with an ugly stick and given an upper-cut to the chin.
Exactly, the paint job is terrible. But I've seen a few customs that give it that soul it needs.
I have to admit that InFlames did a good job with the camo. Not up to Hot Toys' quality in tailoring, but still pretty good. I bet that we'll see a few customs with the new Hot Toys Big Boss head.
I like the headsculpt but that neck is too tall. I hope they do more from the series, seriously.

I disagree. This sculpt is a horrible peace of ____. The overall look of the RAh saves it though
but the repaint is alot better.
On the Mcfarlen Raiden. With the mask on its the coolest and most accurate MGS figure imo
I was really referring to this custom repaint from Golgo-013 (from the OSW forum). To me, the sculpt looks spot-on to Old Snake (Medicom managed to nail his ugly look just right). But it's in need of a dire re-paint to actually look good.
I'm planning to try something like this out sometime in the future - repaint, and swap out the RAH body with a Hot Toys true type.
Eww, no. The squatting stance for the Raiden figure (masked or unmasked) is completely wrong. I like all of them to tell you the truth, but Solidus is by far, the best figure that has ever come out of the McFarlane line. The details on his suit are amazing, and the head-sculpt actually looks like Solidus, not a mutant celebrity impersonation.

I liked the stance, it was a mid run type thing, looks awesome with the double blade and M4 on his back. The articulation while horrible allowed for seamless-ness which made it more like a statue.
Never got Solidus myself but the headsculpt on him wa beast. Its as good as the PlayArts headsculpt.
@ Solidus, i like the paint ap on that OldSNake very nice, i still think the sculpt is ugly. That paint just hides that fact

McFarlane's Solidus is the best figure next to Raven, but Raven's head looks like a Black guy's.
Solidus had rubber Snake Arms but the Play Arts has multi-joints which I believe is better since it cuts the weight down. McFarlane's is too top heavy.
