I do not remember seeing a thread for this one...This film is magnificent and deserves accolades way beyond what Frozen was...one of Pixars best and one of those original gems that just makes one think..the kids and I loved it last night

The trailers and advertising did nothing for me too, but the kids wanted to see it...it was a spectacular surprise and IMHO deserves to make money...story was excellent...the preceding short film was as usual great...

Five posts, that it?

Is this movie really good? (Don't answer that Adolfo)

Curious, but like others said, the marketing left me confused about what the story is. I understand the premise. Not something that grabs me. But it sure made a boat-load of money. I will wait to hear some word-of-mouth.

Haven't seen it yet but I intend to.

I just watched the UK trailer yesterday which shows a more expanded version of the dinner talk with the girl, in which the girl's feeling escalate to full anger and the dad has to "put his foot down". Then we went to my in-laws for Father's Day dinner with my wife's sister's family, in which we saw a very similar scenario play out with our niece! :lol The whole time I was laughing and pointing out the similarities to my wife! Then we had to share the trailer with my wife's sister, who also thought it was funny and will probably go watch the movie now! :rotfl

I will rank this closer to Incredibles than Cars or Brave definitely...it's story is quite different than any other Pixar film IMHO ...to me it's like Fantastic Voyage of the mind...and then some....granted I can't say I hate any of Pixars stuff. But this one was up there. Some emotions played out...Saw some folks tear up in the theater too. I will buy this one

It's an excellent film - it's about growing up, the emotions we all feel in adolescents, and it portrays complex emotional issues through a simple yet effective device. And Bing-Bong is hilarious!

Bing Bong was hilarious but at the same time beautifully tragic...film had a great mixture of emotions here...I guess that's what the story was about

But the inherent tragedy of his character wasn't overplayed into sappiness, and they also managed to use it to further send home the message about the value of Sadness. This is a movie I think I'll like even more the second and third time I watch it, a hallmark of a great Pixar flick.

It was alright/good. It wasn't near the level of Up or The Incredibles or other Pixar greats. Bits were funny but not Laugh out loud funny. Theres only one small moment that tugs the heart strings. It was alright.

Agree 100%. I think it's an important film... A must watch if you will

This one was not about funny...funny I would say was just a small part of it.. It was a perfect blend or mix you could say... Just like a great coffee :)

Saw it last night in a packed out theatre. I thought it was a brilliant film. One of Pixar's best and one of the best films of the year.

Saw this yesterday with the wife. We loved it. Day one purchase from us. 10/10. I loved how imaginative it was. Very original and creative.

This film deserves a Billion at the box office and deserves "classic"
