SS were offering US collectors free shipping during Spook and gift cards to International collectors. I'd have preferred $25 off shipping.

It would of been nice. I remember a long time ago they offered 50% off shipping for international customers, while having free shipping for US customers. Would be nice to see that again.

I wonder why no SS Reps have bothered to respond in this thread.

I also noticed an increase in shipping prices over the past 2 months. The Sabretooth PF and Iron Man Mk VI maquette seem to cost more (about 30-40% increase) to ship to Asia as compared to other packages I have received from SS earlier this year.

If this continues, I might just have to order through a local retailer and stop giving SS the business directly.

What's happened to the preferable shipping rates via FedEx SS?? It was great when it first started and seems to be reverting to the old outrageous international shipping fees.

We would like to hear some answers please.

My order has changed to: Item Shipping Soon. Interested to see how much shipping is going to cost to Australia for 3 HT figures. Still says $0.00

On my last few orders they dont give any estimate on the shipping on the order pages, they'll give you an estimate in the "estimated arrival" E-Mail. But thats only shortly before delivery.

I hate not knowing the shipping when ordering, they used to display it, since then i used to be able to judge by cost of delivery from previous items of the same type, but it fluctuates so much.

Email for a quote. The last few HT figures cost me around $50.

If I remember correctly, before SDCC shipping of HT figure was $30. Since SDCC: $50... Not one of the measures that SSC has taken in compensation for the closing of the EU warehouse has ever convinced me. And IF the shipping price goes up again, it's not going to help (although from my last SSC delivery, I couldn't really confirm that it went up again).
I cancelled a lot of orders right after the EU warehouse closure, and bought the items for the most part elsewhere, and cheaper too - including (!) shipping and taxes. Anyway, only exception still is the SSC exclusives. They must be bought from them directly. But their new NRD policy has cured me from that necessity also. But the most important factor is that SSC has stopped to amaze me. I couldn't name one item they released since (or made available for pre order) that has really caught my attention. You know, a real "must have".

To bad that a lot of negative factors that surround SSC today, are not really their responsibility it seems. I still do give SSC a lot of credit for the customer friendliness they have administered in the past, before the EU warehouse closed. There just was no other company that did what SSC did to satisfy their customers. Thank you for that SSC. Perhaps they still do, but, since I buy a lot less from them, I can't see it any more. Most of their promotions focus on the US market these days. No judgement - just an observation.

Greedo just cost me $48 to Australia but my IM MIV is showing as $25 for shipping? Just an initial estimate or real shipping quote? Surely Sideshow can do it for better than $48?

Some of these items are now available in Australia for only $10 to $20 more, I may as well just get them locally now.

SSC 12" Greedo was $48 to ship.
HT IM MK IV was $25 to ship.
SSC 12" Rex $36 to ship.

Surely all these figures are similar in weight, why the difference in postage all the time? I don't select different types of shipping for each one?:dunno

I may as well buy local if shipping is over $30.

I disagree, with the strong Aussie dollar I find I'm saving up to as much as $100 in some cases.

Size of the box plays a big part in final cost of shipping too. Hence why a 12" figure won't always cost the exact same amount to ship. $48 is a lot better then $80. Thats how much it was on average a few years back.

This was before my time, i didn't know they did this, i started a similar thread about shippin cost beign a hell of a lot more in total than US and the US getting exclusive offers and discounts, which sucks

I'm getting my red ninja shipped to Oz for $27. That's not cheap nor overly expensive. That is for one actio.ln figure.only upside is that its fully trackable and fast.

Considering some local sellers charge that much and more for postage.
