Introducing New Cats!!!!!

lol That made me laugh. I didnt mean to get on your nerves ski.

No probs man, I'm just serious about my cat, I know it's silly to some but I really enjoy her company and she's basically my kid. I don't like seeing her unhappy and neither does my wife (she really doesn't because she knows what a great cat she is and we don't wanna make her life miserable)

Sorry if I got upset and I understand if you think it's silly, I just want some help on the situation is all. dawg

the seperate rooms trick works pretty good from what i hear. you can also try keeping them seperated get a towel and rub it on the new kitten to get his scent on it and give it to sadie so she gets used to it.

We read that Craw, we took a towel and wipe the kitten with it to get his scent all over and put it underneath her food bowl so she could associate something that she likes like eating with his scent. I've just put both bowls next to each other on both sides of our spare bedroom door. Lets how this works!!!

I just came out from holding the new kitten and I was able to pet Sadie now without her hissing, this is progress

they may play together, but once in awhile the older one may still hang a can or whupass on the new one if it pisses it off.

Ski, I'm neutering and spaying some cats that need new homes, during the next few weeks.

I told them Uncle Ski would be willing to give them a cozy home for a while. You should be receiving the first wave at your door here shortly.

Thanks bro, we've been working with both of them today and have made some huge progress, Sadie is no longer hissing at his scent and eating next to the bowls side by side separate by the door. The lil guy is actually pawing over underneath the door while she just eats and is basically ignoring him but that's better than hissing. Baby steps!!!

It's funny because at the gym you'll hear me talk about what my cat did and that's she so smart yada yada, and someone who doesn't know me that's in the conversation talking with my boyees from that gym (that I don't know really well either) gives sort of a snicker and it's that look for a second that I can give them, all of a sudden that snicker is wiped pretty fast from their face as they know I'm serious

I wasn't upset early that they would think I was a _____ for liking cats, it's more the fact of not giving helpful solutions and just wasting my time.
