No one bought this eh? I did...its an awesome little thing...so for 40 bucks I get a fantastic movie, a sweet(and heavy!) little bust, and a 50 gift card. Swweeeeet. I'll save it for Spooktacular.

Heres the poor looking pics....

I brought 2 myself. and for DVDmalice, at first, the quality at a glance through the box look a bit low quality, but when I took it out and in my hand the quality is much better

^^^^ blu ray. I have zeeeero desire to buy every movie I own again just so I can get an amazing picture. (No doubt it rocks....but eh. Not yet)

And yes, the bust is very well made. Its heavy, a few little paint problems in the cracks, but its very good.

Oh and one more thing, the only poor issue this Head has is the "IRON MAN" logo...its kinda messy. Well, mine is anyway. No big deal though.

The last couple of years, I mostly passed on a lot of recent films on DVD, since I was aware about the upcoming HD formats. Most BDs I have are films I never bought before, and I'm glad I didn't (like with BATMAN BEGINS.) I don't have to upgrade every DVD to BD, but I do it only on films I really love. Movies like IRON MAN, THE INCREDIBLE HULK and THE DARK KNIGHT are the reasons Blu Ray was invented, and now is the perfect time to jump on board.

You forgot about the Free Lithograph that they gave out at Best Buy today as well. I'm really glad that I have the official Archive Mark 03 ordered, the head is not removable from the base like the others and without the stem it looks odd. Considering the GC will be used either now or during Spook, I got a DVD, Bust and Litho for free.

i heard that mate i have over 800 dvd's and i don't want to start over in blu-ray.

i might have to see the bust for my self, i have the mark III archive set on order. so i don't know untill i see it.

thanks:D

Not for me. Watching the DVD today, I see nothing wrong with the picture. It was quite nice.

I was even watching it on the Blu Ray screen at Best Buy. Again, very nice. But its not worth it to me. Besides, I dont want to pay 30 bucks for ONE movie....unless they include a bust or 50 dollars inside...:naughty

No need to start over, just get new releases with the best quality available. And BR isn't neccesary unless you have the right TV. I didn't even get a player until my family bought a new 65" HDTV earlier this year, and it's really made a difference in how I watch movies. Not as nice as watching them in theaters, but ALOT better than on a 27" SD TV.

I had it in my had...but I wasnt sure if it was free...plus I didnt really care for it all that much. Its cool....but I dont know what to do with it.

I still dont want to pay 30 bucks for a movie. 20 is pushing it...but I'll only pay if its loaded with features.

Not sure what I'll do with it either but its free so I walked with it.

You cant change me. I love DVD's.....and always will. Once they become extinct...then i'll convert. Until then....DVD all the way.
