The designer must like this Indo Board. :lol

hachacha~!!!

I really don't know what to say about 500$ price tag!!! Go on Sideshow LOVERS, go on to support every crazy action of Sideshow! You can call me whatever you want from this day on, HATER is very welcome if you prefer! Sideshow was a great company once, not anymore in any means!

Hater. All you do it hate. We get it. You hate. You hate Sideshow.

:lol

Some people around here need to chill. Jeez. Both the MkVI and War Machine Maquettes were more than this. Maybe licensing is different prices for different movies :dunno

In regards to the base....have some imagination jeez. So what if he didn't stand on it in the movie??? Is it that far fetched to think that he maybe did in some other moment not shown in the movie? You know, in that part of the room like 20 feet away?? Not one single piece is 100% movie accurate to a pose/base so just get over it. I think it looks quite nice tbh. Not getting it as I'm waiting for MkIII or VIII but still, it's quite nice. Production pics (AS ALWAYS) will determine if it's worth it or not.

Great post :exactly:
'Legacy' always adds $ but it is an obvious milk from SS assuming this suit will be more popular than the 42.

If the silver paint apps are decent, not like what we saw at SDCC, this will be a glorious statue.
I'm in, but i'll wait for either a low ES, in hand pictures or discount if they overproduce.

I will own this unless it looks bad, which unfortunately could be a possibility.

oh, for sure...i think we all know how those production pieces are going to come out if you just look at the last 4-5 IM pieces SSC has released...

True their track record hasn't been great with IM, but my War Machine Maquette is one awesome ****ing piece :rock

So they can get it right. Let's just wait and see instead of everyone acting like Sideshow is pulling tricks. That proto looks awesome in my eyes and if I wasn't basically only doing comic PFs at the moment, I'd consider it. So yea, let's wait and see when it arrives how it looks.

I can see how biased collectors have become.:cuckoo:

XM prices are much higher excluding shipping and yet the complaints of prices here.

Perspectives are really warped :slap

And the hate for the base, pfft .... there's no rule how screen accurate the base needs to be compared to the movie. Do you all just prefer a flat tarmac/tiled floor (stark's warehouse floor in movie) ?

I would pay 400$ for this pose with this base since it's movie accurate. Not with the gantry since we all know it's the Mk III that Stark is stucked in it with Pepper caught him!

The base is cool, I actually really like that.

But....

The price is just more than I would spend. Given the steady increase in Iron Man prices (IP $399, Mk42 $449, MkII $479) I'm going to guess that the MkIII will be $499 and then the eagerly anticipated MkVII will be $529.

So glad I order mK 7 from xm !

Well in that case I'm going to put myself under financail duress and PO this immediatley :lol When we're old eventually these nameplates will come in handy trying to remember who the hell these guys are.

Good good point :lol

woohoo another iron man...!!!!!

i willpurchase iron man if the number match with 2020 Superbowl...

Looks nice but the paint job is going to be no where near that nice. Will be a flat silver. Going to pass on this unless if they manage to get that paint job onto the final product.

Congrats on paying $200 more than SS prices + int.shipping for something that hasn't been officially open for PO :clap

Oh yea, wth ss QC issue I will love to spend more money on what is better, plus I don't loose money if I sell it , and I bet it will sold out fast too.
