Even then its a crap shoot since I have a feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg of IM2 product and I might sit it out and pick and choose once everything is announced.

I guess I'm expecting it to be in the $800-$1000 range, which will be out of my reach. If this was going to cost $400-$600, it would probably have been a PPO instead.

This might actually have 4 digits tied to it. Which means I wont have to be glued to my PC screen to order. I wonder if they will want a deposit on this one like the 1:2

No the Mark I was a Sideshow piece. Also 1/4 scale though. I wonder if Sideshow will do any of their own or if they'll just import Legacy pieces.

It was sculpted by Eric Sosa and the portrait by Trevor Grove.

Sort of. It was completely sculpted by Eric Sosa but the portrait was horrible IMHO and wasn't approved via Sideshow, it then was resculpted by Trevor Grove. Personally as awkward as it looks I wish they had just restarted it. You can see pictures of the Sosa sculpt compared to the Grove sculpt and its night and day.

I wonder if they will, we haven't seen archive stuff since not even in the comic form so I wonder if that line is dead in the water.

That is highly possible and it's not up for PPO right just released with NL? So probably will be costly. $800 still ok in my books if it's quality with an ES.
