i agree.es will be open..that's bad imo..

Yeah, IM is a global phenomenon, SSC may do well even with an open ES and high price. At least flippers will all be eradicated, so that's a good thing : P Doesn't really bother me cos I'm really happy with my display atm (as I'm sure you are ecekat?) with my IMs and another can just be a switchout . : )

I wonder what the data is for open vs close ES tho', because close ES makes people want to pull the trigger faster. Look at some open ES items some crazy Marvel fans don't even have 1:2 IM which they may if it was announced ES.

All in all, it's interesting to see the petty drama and ruffled feathers ensueing from hate of people with a conflicting opinion from one's own. People who try to evoke change for the better will always persecuted. Seeing people dying everyday, really puts a perspective on things.

It's Jinxx she's the bad influence, she might have me canceling items here left and right, and then I might care about sucky prints, etc...

I try to leave her house but the handcuffs to the bed are hard to get out of and then typing with one hand here on the laptop is another challenge.

Someday I will get out of here and get to the gym soon enough, I miss it :monkey2

Where's that remote....? :banghead

:lol:lol:lol:lol

Yes...leave it open...that way if I don't order out right...I am sure I can find it cheaper later.

Can someone explain what the Legacy stamp means? It seems to imply a higher price but what is the significance of it? Is it done by a different team or do they use different materials? Is the quality better? Does any other Marvel statues have the Legacy stamp? I don't recall seeing it before but I only collect Marvel and may have missed it.

Legacy Studios is Stan Winston's Studios, they changed their name after Stan's passing.

those doubting the $800+ price tag then check this enhanced pic....check out the detail!!

The pic from Total Film is using production concepts. Hasbro and Koto I believe used them as well. That's why people are seeing a Mark VI that looks all red/gold with differences cosmetically and one that has the steel accents. I believe it has been confirmed that the film version of the Mark VI will have the steel accents.

i believe you'll see an attention to detail that will put even most ssc pieces to shame, and instead of maybe 6-12 casting glued together you'll see probably 50-100 pieces to make the detail second to none.
hence the large price.:monkey2

I agree, open your wallets Freaks, prepare to battle muther of god!

agreed, though i still would've liked to of gotten a legit "football version" this one at $800+/- will be a must because of the detail and differant stance that my SIM has.

bring it on you small in the pants freaks........:chew:chew:chew

where is ecekat? :D:D

like the chrome endoskull? :lol

I see $500 vs $800 (ASSUMING that is roughly the price..if it isn't, different story then), where as for the average collector $500 is more reasonable..plus I see those being more popular because you can make those look like the clean version. Where as if there is no exclusive for this...meh.

i have a very good feeling that I will order it, i think it just looks amazing and a 1:4 scale IM is what i have wanted since the beginning....i've had to wait though:

3 1:1 busts, a 1:4 scale mark I, and a 1:2 IM maquette plus all the other stuff.....NO WAY i can pass on this go now that it's finally here because my 12" HT (although Awesome) just isn't cutting it!!!

Yeah I don't mind paying extra for the added detail, the 1:1 IM bust is now my wife's fav piece.

I wanna get one of these for my friend's bday as well and possibly another to custom.
