Im betting this will have the same paint apps and paint flaws as the others had. Look at the side of his face in the light on the proto pic. You can already see the same grease/orange peal texture that all the others had. This will have issues also....believe me.

It'll be fine, failing that at least we have a battle damaged MK VI marquette to look forward too.

Considering how there usually is need to go up a Mark I'd say that a BD Mark IV is more likely

I'm not sure if the point was made but i have a feeling alot of people who were looking for a 1/4 IM movie maquette will be very disappointed when this is revealed. Not because of the sculpt itself but because of the price. By employing Legacy to sculpt this piece it's put a premium on the price for the majority wanting this. I am sure the majority of collectors would have been happy with SS sculpting this inhouse and selling it for between $325-$400.

I guess we will know more on Thursday but I highly doubt this is going to be below $400. Which is a shame for all those collectors who were calling for this piece.

I don't blame Sideshow for using Legacy to cash in on the Iron Man 2 movie hype and the crazy popularity of the modern Iron Man armor.

That said, if it is around the $800 mark, I will most likely buy it...anything much over that and I will just be happy with my current modern IM comiquette. Those darn lights are just so awsome it will be hard to pass this up... my wife told me to sell my GI Joe 1/6th to pay for this, but she always calls my 1/6th dolls.
