I want I want! Thats a nice find, awesome video, that looks hella bad ass.........the Mark III may be the first suit, but this one looks way better.

that video also proves how wrong SS got the paint app on the Mark II bust.............

After seeing the mark IV maquette up close in the video, I'm definitely going to cancel it. Something just doesn't look right to me.

My budget will only allow me to have one 1:2 scale item and I'm saving that spot for War Machine. That does look pretty awesome though

Well, I just about fell off my chair when I saw this. :thud:

I think it's about 75% likely that SS will manufacture this maquette and in the same scale -- not only did SS promise to make more 1:2 scale product for the new film, but here we see the Legacy Effects template from which they can make it.

And the pose is sweet, makes the Mark III look tame in comparison.

Btw, how about SS make the useable Iron Man 1:1 glove in that video? :)

Oh, and look at the detail we might be seeing:

I think they should 'seal' the faceplate a bit more though.

I would get one of those for sure. Given they actually use metal in it for the panels. If they just paint it silver and make it the same cheap paper thin hollow cast the first one was then no thanks.
I'll pay extra if they do it right the first time....but up till now SS has failed at every major IM piece they have put out. Which sucks.....I still dont have any high end collectibles from the movie.
I returned my 1:1 bust and cancelled 1:2 IM...if SS doesnt start putting some quality back into their products then im out.

Yeah the only way I'd purchase this is if they used 1/2"-1" thick polystone instead of the 1mm walls they were using and the statue weighs about 50-75lbs and has a hefty feel to it. I won't pay $2k for a statue that breaks in shipping.

I wasn't there at the inception of the Mark III maquette, so I'm not familiar with the potential timeline for a SS release.

What's the typical timeline between SS first releasing a picture of the product (whether it be a sneak-peek or otherwise) and the time for pre-order? It might be something SS announce in their June newsletter, given that the lull of the IM2 film will be subsiding and collectors will be anticipating some goodies...
