I just got a postcard about this from SSC. There looks like there is a difference between the Best Buy version and the SSC offered Archive.

Best Buy:

SSC:

Not only is the paint deco different but the Best Buy version doesn't have the "pedestal" portion and just has the helmet resting on the base.

Pretty much but the base differences are key as the Sideshow piece looks slightly better in its presentation than their Best Buy version. OCD Iron Man fans like me will of course have both.

yes, looks like it is available in canada for preorder finally.
only thing is that the collectors edition with the helm, is only with the blueray version at this point. maybe they'll have dvd box set later. also comes with a couple of comic books??

damn, might have to get the blueray version anyway, just for later when i do get a player.

I just saw that on Best Buy Website and it also says it comes with a $50.00 gft card from Sideshow too!!!!

it appears that the us bestbuy is offering the regular dvd in the gift box set.

and the bestbuy in canada is offering it in the blueray version with 2 comics.

yeah i hear ya. i don't know why they just don't offer both formats in the box set, since they have them both available to sell. i don't think that offering the gift set in just the blueray format will make many people run out and buy a blue player. maybe-maybe not

of course i would be getting that $50 dollar gift card. hmmmm
i might have to buy both, damn bestbuy, i guess it worked.
