It took awhile to fit it in place on mine. I ended up by turning both statue and base upside down, lining it up, and then slowly let it slide in place using the weight of the base.

I was very careful not to get paint rubs too, but I agree, it is an awkward fit.

holy cow upside down?? not sure if I can do that...

actually these shelves are in the same style as a detolf, but are wider and made by a company called jysk, as for the looseness of the arms, i thought the top ones weren't that bad, but the bottom one just kinda seems to sit there in his back and resting on the base on mine. really think it could end up going for a tumble sometine. maybe.

you're supposed to fit it into that hole in the base...so it's held up...but it doesn't fit well!

beat it already :)

I would like to get a #3 one of these days. Who knows. Maybe this will be the one. :monkey3

Congrats, MinMay on the low #.

11...

reminds me of watching American Idol yesterday when they had to sing Michael Jackson songs :)

Dang #11! nice! 26 is the lowest number I have for any statue...but 11...saweet. I always think of having statues with the same number 11, 22, 33 etc...

haha, size seems a bit off but that's cool

# 143 has just been delivered to my job. It was a birthday gift from my wife that she was worried wouldn't make it her in time so she bought some smaller things to compensate and ironically it was delivered today. Too bad I've got another couple of hours before I can knock off and open it. :(

haha, 143 for i love you...pager code...:lol

I got #180 today. It's bigger then I expected. I'll post some pictures up soon but right now I have to put some new curtains up for the little woman.

Finally took pics, best birthday present I've received in a while. Used a 2 Liter for a Size Comparison

Honestly this IS Sideshow's absolute best Comiquette. I'll always love my Iron Mans but this really is the best of the lot so far....I would rate it above the majority of the PFs...its just that well done.

Awesome pics Mike, the two liter and getting him posed with the rest of the guys gives me a really good idea of how big this Spiderman is! :rock

I am having a little problem with mine tho...the downward pointing leg, it doesn't seem to fit in the hole on the base...the brick from the base blocks it...anybody else have this problem?

Yes and it's a pain in the butt to get that sucker in the base. I'm sure some people will scratch the inside of the left leg trying to get it in.

seems my statue leans a bit...so if it actually leaned more to one side...it'd go in easily...so depending on how the peg in the foot is angled, you might have one that slips right in.

That's weird....mine went in without any problems. Tight and snug....the only thing that doesn't really fit tightly is the waldoes.....they are fairly loose.
