Good thing you didn't wait too long.
Yeah I would have been really annoyed with myself. Already annoyed that I cancelled my first order in July, I'd probably have it by now. Just glad I got one in time.

I wonder what Vaders chain was made from in the film? The actual prop...

Three AAs.
I bought one of these battery eliminators for mine so I can run it from a wall outlet: https://www.ebay.com/itm/AA-Battery...ces-3-AA-batteries-w-4-5-Volt-DC/253069905628
Next step is to wire the chest box and belt boxes, as previously mentioned, so it all turns on together with no batteries required. Won't be able to tackle that project for a while though, unfortunately...

Already on it...almost done.
Awesome! Would appreciate if you could post pics of how your harness attaches to Vader's electronics when you get to that point...
I'm taking pictures as I go...I'll make a quick video when finished.
Thanks, looking forward to it. I'm ordering the battery thing you linked here, any other items you've purchased for this mod?
Note that he is using a USB adapter for power, which will have a different voltage output from the battery eliminator I linked to (5V vs 4.5V). If you want to follow his approach, I would recommend you wait for his supplies list before ordering anything, as his design is presumably based around the 5V output and may have slightly different parts requirements.
So if I pay this off now, will I get one shipped right away or will it be delayed until next restock?

Indeed. And after feeding the base with 5v, I am using a linear regulator I scrounged from a board I had laying around that had a perfect 5v input and 3.25v output to Vader. You will need to know some things if you follow my route....it's for sure not plug and play.
Restock.
Ahhh...[emoji22]
Well, I better call in and make sure they take the funds as I have them now. Not sure if I’ll have it when they finally restock them.
