Well I heard that sideshow recently agreed to use the art and collectibles tax commodity code when sending to the EU, so that should make it cheaper? In the UK that code is only 5% tax!

If they were to register it as such, then it might make a difference yes. Belgium uses a VAT of 6 and 21%, which is even variable within the section of art and collectibles. As such, it does somewhat remain a bet.

Yes, that is the proto they showed at SDCC. And at that time it was ROTS. But they may be changing it now do to the backlash feedback. Would explain the delay in official reveal.

Maybe, that picture is ROTS though for sure. There's a fair few changes to make, I'd reckon it was a mistake.

Well I wonder if I'll keep both Vaders when this comes in? I did build that huge Death Star interior for my SS one. Big job the take it down and make it free standing to sell with the SS Vader which I really like despite all the Vader Haters. It looks nice in my shelf. Can't use it for ESB statue.

Include it with the Vader when you sell.
It might be the only way to get rid of the PF.

Speaking of the SSC Vader, I didn't mind the pose too much, what bothered me was the very tall and plasticky looking base. I would have taken that pose with a lower more flat and darker looking base.

That is a sad statement if you think about it. Only 7k and with millions of Star Wars fans not only can you find this for sale, many other pieces with low ES are easily found. Kind of weird in general.

I do still like it and am not at this point looking to sell it. It looks great to me at least and when it's all lit up with the display is cool.

I just have to be realistic when the time comes.

7000 is a massive edition size.

Exactly. Over 5000 it was considered a big edition years ago, it is still now. 7000 is indeed massive. How many Star Wars fans are collectors? How many of the collectors are interested in high end expensive statues?

not that manny for sure.. and for those who are.. they gladly probably dish out another $150 more and have a more superior Vader in the IS vader IMO .... Im sure SSC will sit on their Vader for a very very long time

Whyyyyy???? Around 700euro is fine for me but 1k .... No way and buy from ssc pay vat 21% + shipp -> +- 1k so still too much. This vader is best but with that price,maybe one day from aftermarket.
