Beautiful statue.

Though I could've sworn that there was a bit more shading around the eyes. Though the lights could just be washing it out?

Look fantastics, but I still think the SS Spider-Man PF is superior to this in many ways. But congrats to those getting this, it's a winner.

I went back to look at this piece 3 times at SDCC ....and I'm sorry to say I still don't like it.

I can see why others would like ...it has its merits. But the pose is awkward to me. And the fact that the vertical metal window pane is what's holding Spidey up by his crotch, it just doesn't make sense to me. That just means Spidey rammed through the metal window pane with his inner thighs ...which is actually really close to his balls ...to run from Doc Ock. Then Doc Ock's tentacles doesn't make sense either ...like why does it start from inside of the window, goes out, then is coming back in again?

I don't know ....maybe it's just me. I've wanted to like this piece, but I can't and don't ...so I'll just congratulate those who like it and is getting it. If you like it, then don't let me change your mind. Enjoy it.

were you serious with this post? you've gotta be trolling.

Yes, hes trolling, everyone on the internet that doesn't agree with you must be a troll. :slap

i don't care if he doesn't like the statue, his statements he made are completely...nonsensical. rammed the metal pane with his inner thighs? seriously? not to mention his comments about the arm.

jesus.

He doesn't like how his balls straddle the window and doesn't like how many planes of the piece Doc's arm goes through. Is it that hard to understand? His English seems pretty straight forward. Really? Jesus yourself.

Gotta agree. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and some peeps here take even the smallest of criticism hard or personal.

do you lack basic comprehension?

Yeah I can understand your point of view. I actually found it looked strange at first. But it's grown on me somehow. And I think it's because of the artistic impression alone. Some of the angles I have seen this piece at look really awkward. But I still gotta have him. I really like the Falcon statue more and more. With the Tentacle starting in then going out then in again is just the artist imagination I think along with the oversized eye patches. I still love it. How about the base. Does it give you the impression of flimsy? because I have to admit I am concerned it's really delicate and light weight. Not taking anything away from the design `point of view.

I wondering what you guys are talking about when you say his balls. Spidey is jumping out of a window he alway looks limber in the a lot of poses. I still need help understanding. I also need help understanding why we are mentioning spidey's balls.

BECAUSE..... his unmentionables are passing extremely close to a bunch of sharp metal and glass shards, as we can see.

This is a really cool statue, interesting from all angles but I admit, the proximity of his nether regions to these dangerous objects is rather distracting. Instead of thinking "cool!, look at this amazing pose!" its "omg what the hell, look out already." It does not seem like the best choice of poses to me for this reason. JMO.

Regardless of your thoughts on this statue, there is one thing I think we can all agree on...

Dat Ass. HNNNNNG.
