For Australian collectors have you looked into buying from PopCultcha so you can get him locally instead of paying import taxes? The Price is higher than Sideshow, but wouldn't it be better than the Exchange rate, fees, and Shipping you pay from Sideshow?

As I and others have written, as long as our AUD currency doesn't go down by more than a cent against the USD (when it's shipped to AUS - to avoid GST and duties) it will be definately be cheaper to get through Sideshow over Popcultcha.

For whatever reason this particular piece is approximately $300 AUD over priced on the Popcultcha website when compared with other Iron Studio pieces recently put up for preorder.

(Note: yesterday the official rate of exchange at the Australian customs department was 0.7597. So it all depends on what the rate is on the day it is shipped from the USA. If it falls down to 0.7500, then many are going to be concerned).

Import tax shouldn't be an issue as this piece converts to under a $1000 Australian, they don't include the shipping amount! it works out between $200 to $250 cheaper than Popcultcha.

Very cool guys when I did that math, I was thinking that you would get hit with import taxes, so just figured it would be almost the same price ordering from PC and then being able to have local support instead of having to ship back to SS if there was a problem.

Sideshow 750 + 180 shipping = 930USD convert to AUD = 1221AUD verse PC 1144AUD plus local taxes, but free ship.

I know how you feel because being from US and ordering an XM statue is crazy for shipping.

I always get 10% over at Popcultcha and as long as the currency remains over 0.75 it'll be about $90 AUD cheaper for me if I were to get it from Sideshow. But if the AUD goes down to 0.75 and below it'll be a tad bit more expensive for me to get from Sideshow.

Ok so this is my fault. I'm so use to the PC web site defaulting to AUD, then after you add to your cart it would change to USD for me. I haven't shopped their since the glitch of 2015. It looks like PC has revamped their web site, and now it automatically defaults to USD for me. So you are 100% correct the price in AUD for this piece is 1499 WOW that is so much more.

Icons Collectables here in Australia just recently updated their ETA for this statue from 7th September to 1st of September.

Well I just finished with talking with one of the Guys at Sideshow and he reckons it's going to be a Grail for sure. His words were pictures just don't do it justice how good this one looks in person! Well I'm even more excited than before now! He also mentioned how good the Falcon looks and stated the shipping will be a lot cheaper due to the way the wings are packaged
