Definitely the AOU is overscaled.

And I still honestly believe that their CW Team Stark pieces that I have of IM, Black Panther and War Machine are overscaled too. Heck IMO they dwarf their corresponding CW Team Cap pieces.

So, overscaled in relation to buying the whole set. I’ve only ever bought one of each of the sets. But I contend, the AOU Cap is a marvelous statue.

Ordered the deluxe without hesitation. A true grail and the definitive MCU Cap collectible IMO.

It looks nice enough but the shield facing away is a fail and the AOU outfit easily comes in last behind Civil War and Endgame.

Ugh, I'm so on the fence with purchasing this or just keeping my Hot Toys Endgame PO.

As much as I love this representation ststue of Cap. I think I might just keep my EG HT Cap order. That likeness is like no other and different action poses I can have him in and those accessories are a huge selling point. Plus it will be my first HT Cap.

So I think I answered my own question, lol.

Threw this over in the Thor section but I comped a little comparison of the pieces I plan to display with this. War Machine will also be a part of it. Cap and Thor are prob a smidge oversized while the SSC stuff is prob a smidge undersized but man, I love it! I'm excited!

His height is listed at 23.2” or 59cm which seems at least 5cm or 2 inches to high considering the height of the base from his back foot.

yes, they are bit large for a 1/4 scale. thor looks huge.

I honestly think the rehashed Hot Toys headsculpt is still better, even though it’s like 4 years old.

(And you’ve really got to start using the quotes in your replies to particular posts, as you keep on replying to a particular post, without any reference).

Thanks, looking forward to my first Iron Studios piece. As you know I was on the fence with their Vader and passed because I just wanted more of a museum pose. Then the prices skyrocketed anyway.

I think you might actually own more Cap pieces than me.

I just have the EX SSC TFA PF and then this. Nice bookend pieces for MCU Cap.

Yea I'm going to agree with Ghost on this one. I think the Endgame one is the best followed by AOU and the Civil War one being third. Still, they are all freakin nice...kinda nitpicking and saying any of them are a fail is wrong.

Unmasked face sculpt is off a little bit. Hope Iron Studios tweaks it. Also just want to note it is still 10x better than the SSC Winter Soldier unmasked head sculpt.

Oh, and Deluxe was ORDERED! Probably will only get Tony out of the remaining 1/4 pieces.

Not saying the statue itself is a fail. It's cool. Just dislike that the shield is facing away because of the pose. This being a statue you will never see Cap's signature shield unless you have it spinning on a turntable.

I like the AOU version the best of the 3 so far, but I agree that the shield being hidden is a disadvantage. As for the End Game version, we don’t truly know yet how it compares until we see them in person and see the production paint jobs , but I hope they are the same caliber because I bought one.
