I was kinda interested in the Harry Potter P.F.'s , but, I doubt we'll even see those...

I was really hoping for a P.F. of the Faun from Pan's Labyrinth thou. But, that seems like a pipe dream at this point.

I hope they stick to releasing the Harry Potter PFs. I've had Voldemort on pre-order for several months now and just hope that it's been delayed for quality control.

GG is not high end enough, and they never diversified their business. They made sense back in the early to mid 00's, but not anymore.

I just want my Boba/Carbonite maquette. I received Maul and Ben maquettes the other day and I consider that line complete. They never gave me a Clone Wars Dooku or Shaak-Ti maquette so forget them. That told me right there that they don't have a clue.

I never got into collecting GG busts (only have 3) but I do have about 5 statues. Waiting for the Stormtrooper and Shadow Stormie statues to be released - if ever released...

After selling most of them, I have 6 GG busts remaining and 1 GG statue: Clone Obi which I had to have modified so the face looked a bit more like Ewan McGregor.

Agreed, as long as we get that stellar piece, than I don't care as much. I only collect the animated maquettes anyways. Nothing else from GG. I know they don't hold their value or anything, and I don't get them for that...I just really dig the whimsical nature of the pieces. Plus they look GREAT displayed with their respective character keys from ACME!

I'm still hoping we 'at least' get an animated Indiana Jones to go with the character key too...although I'd love a few other animated Indy figs too (Marion, Toht, Sallah, Belloq, Mola Ram, Short Round, Henry Sr.)

Shame about the LOTR ones. I really dug those and was hoping we'd at least get Aragorn and/or a Frodo/Sam combo before it ended. Ah well...

Funny, but since they are having a blow-out sale I bought a SW animated maquette as a Xmas gift for my nephew. I just got a email today that announced they are way behind in shipping out their items, so it won't get shipped for another week.

Great job, guys. I won't get this in time to give it to him for Xmas.

I only collect their HP busts, but I'm almost at the point of not even finishing those.
GG is not quite dead....but they've been zombies to their customer base for years. Despite very vocal input from us (some of them constructive), they've managed to maintain their cavalier attitude to continually show us that their focus is not on the collectibles and that they have bigger fish to fry. The way they deal with us during the conventions is laughable. They've been rude, patronizing, and as unorganized as a just-formed mom-and-pop store. Last year, there seemed to be some effort to acknowledge us, but they still dorked up. (yeah, I'm talking about the unannounced GDT-signed con exclusive.) Their recent call for input is too little too late IMO. They should've been paying attention years ago. Many of us predicted this a few years back. They deserve to lose us all.

this is why i wrote them off a couple years ago. then they made the Mace Windu an exclusive. which at the time took it out of my reach...i refused to pay PF price for one of those maquettes.

Hah, I get what he is saying. SS makes low ES Exc for other companies, while SS used to make super low ES. It's a thing of the past now.

Those faux bronze dios and SSE dios at 50 ES are nice and all but nowhere near as epic as Grey Hulk vs diorama.
