I think you also have to look at the time span between SDCC and CV. It is only about 3 weeks. Thus, I am sure the logistics of getting everything that they display from SoCal to Orlando and all the staff time out of the office is too much for such a short time span. For the other Celebrations and SDCC there has been 2 months or more between them.

Never mind the fact that LucasFilm took so damn long to announce exactly when CV would occur that to suddenly change an already full product pipeline for an exclusive would be too much interruption.

That hasn't seemed to stop every other SW licensee from attending CV and offering exclusives, including others from SoCal.

Because C4 was in Los Angeles the last time which is in Sideshows backyard. That was the only SW Celebration that SS has been to so far.

Nope. They had a decent-sized booth at C3 in Indianapolis, which is actually where the Grievous PF was first unveiled.

They didn't sell anything and this was before the 12" line started (but took pre-orders on PFs), and they handed out lots of cool Sideshow SW DVDs.

Good for them.

I'm glad there isn't a C5 exclusive I have 4 SW 12" orders to be filled between now and August so it s save me some $$$.

Exclusives are better suited to low-end merchandise - impulse buys. Sideshow would be better off focusing on their big ticket announcements. Besides, they make their exclusives so easy for non-attendees to obtain that there's no point.
