FYI - Mold was poured today. If all goes well I will start casting this week!

Ok all,

Mold turned out good... casting in brown not so good. The pigment I'm using is causing a lot of small air bubbles in the resin even though it is made for such... sigh.

I will try one more thing - if it does not work these will ship white.

As soon as I get a good one cast I pill post pics and take payment.

There are better matches than the lightning hawk because it is a Desert Eagle. You want a 1911. Twilight Magic Works even made a chrome 1911 which would have almost been perfect(except it is a .45 and had brown grips).

But you could buy a 1/6 1911 and paint it chrome with pearl grips.
