He's not next, but Snow Job is on the way. Sideshow answered another one of my questions:

"In the Sideshow Collectibles Catalog Volume 11 that I received with the Sideshow Spooktacular 2009 kit, there’s a nice little write-up on Larry Hama on page 251 regarding G.I. Joe. The page features the covers of a few of the MARVEL Joe Real American Hero series as well as three of the original file cards. Maybe I’m reading into this too much, but the three file cards are Cobra Commander (made into a figure), Storm Shadow (made into a figure), and Snow Job. Is this a potential clue to an upcoming Joe figure? Again, I’m probably reading into it too much, but you guys have been known to leave little clues and teasers. I just found it intriguing that Snow Job would have been one of the file cards featured rather than Snake Eyes or Duke…

Good eyes! We are working on designs for our Snow Job figure, but he’s not going to be revealed anytime in the immediate future."

Also, it looks like another Snakes Eyes is on the way, probably version 1 goggled Snake Eyes:

"Will G.I. Joe 12-inch Snake Eyes get a re-release with an improved, beefier body? The Prometheus body that was used gave Snake Eyes a skinnier frame and some people changed their minds from buying this figure because of that, including myself.

Yes, and no. We are developing a new Snake Eyes 12-inch figure, but we haven’t yet decided which version of the Pro body he’ll have. We like that Snake Eyes is a bit less robust than Duke or Flint but agree that he could use a little bit more bulk this time around. This is NOT a re-release of the original Snake Eyes figure – it is an all-new version."

EDIT: DOH!!! Sorry, didn't see the other thread with the QA answers!!!

Snake Eyes V1 was about as inevitable as any figure already up for pre-order. Much as I love the first version, he is very flawed, and I'm sure that the second version will be an improvement on various levels.

Yes. Snakes Eyes is my favorite Joe character, and you can easily see how far Sideshow has developed in this line from Snake Eyes to Beach Head. I'm one of the few who like V2 Sanke Eyes better than V1 and I may have to switch the bodies over.

there are to many other figures i want for them to start to [make second versions] of figures

I agree....but this is Snake Eyes we're talking about!

stalker is a must and the striped camo is a must, but I agree that he needs to be much much more loaded out. as it is he's sorta boring. i would also say that including a jacket or something would be nice. after bashing a figure with just a sweater and webgear I think its pretty underwhelming.

We always talk about SS giving us a vintage look with the releases but what seems to be the biggest hit around here tends to be original look with an ass-ton of additional gear. So Stalker, with the beret, green on green camo and shoulder straps but with some cool backpack, a few guns and maybe a jetpack? Really, there's lots that can be added that will make him even more desirable but won't take away the original flavor of the character.... He's as vital as Flint, Duke (maybe) or Beach Head IMO.

I pretty much agree.

A character like Duke or Flint I think they're outfits work well just as they are from the original.

Beachhead, Snow Job, too they're already pretty padded out on the clothing.

But the original sweater figures like Grunt, Stalker, and Rock and Roll I think need more. More gear, but also maybe an additional collared shirt or jacket, trench coat, :lol. I just say that based on my kit bash for Grunt. I don't find the sweater to be visually much to look at.

I think a bunch of gear and maybe a vest would compensate. So would a nicely done jetpack.
