Sideshow's SDCC is becoming less appealing every day. I'll probably only drop by their booth once... to pick up my pre-ordered Con Exclusives and do one walk through the displays (of stuff that's already been announced... eh). That's a first. This new approach blows. :pfft:

Maybe all of this is an elaborate scheme to make their SDCC booth less crowded? :lol

This is a head scratcher to me, with all the money they spend on the being at the Con, wouldnt you want to draw people to your booth??

Roger Rabbit statues draw a big crowd?
:panic::panic::panic:

So with no new 12 inch figure and the first PF to preview later in the year I wonder if we'll see a new environment at the con or if it'll just be the Zartan dio and that's it.

If they show a new Joe dio and no new figures, that'll prove that Sideshow definitely has their thumb on the pulse of collectors! :rock:rock:rock

Of course and I'm looking forward to those. Cannot wait to see them but no new fig is odd. I guess for me since I do collect other things I have a lot of reasons to make multiple stops by their booth. That and I enjoy interacting with them.

I always picture SDCC to be the modern day equivalent of buying a new Joe and turning over the cardback to see the other cool ones on the way. A definite bummer if no new ones turn up.

Aw, now I'm sad. Why you gotta hit me in the nostalgia gut like that, Khev?:gah:

I definitely get what you mean though. I guess lines like Dinoriders or whatever they're called are bigger cashcows. Either that or they know we'll stick it out.

yeah, I hate to say it but I kinda agree with you. My only hope is that I'm blown away at the SS panel like in years past..that is unless they decide to change that too.

Did that guy say the next 5 JOES????
Maybe the next release IS a Cobrea AT SDCC..

I know Im holding to hope here

Negative. We still need a couple more Joes before the next Cobra announcement to even out our shelves. Especially with the Red Ninja (technically a Cobra due to his insignia :monkey4) was just announced.

The thing I'm most excited over for SDCC at this point is the possibility of seeing Firefly decked out in his camo hood. Hopefully we'll at least get to see that at the show.

Now that there has been a SW PF released, and basically everything has gotten something to this point, why does this line get the shaft?
