I think they feel that the Flint/Zartan dio was sufficient enough to represent the Joe line at SDCC.

Because Sideshow has only been doing sneak peaks with its own products. Hot Toys, Medicom, etc. get announced by company name under the sneak peaks.

I don't own any GI Joe (well, I would totally buy Scarlett or Lady Jaye). I just like guessing.

The Platoon line is being done by HT, and this preview says SS, so wouldnt that mean a Joe??
