With Flint shipping in about 10 days, I would think the next Joe reveal will be next week.

While SS has done a great job with GIJoe, I think HT would have made them better.

I still think Dragon would have made a great affordable GIJoe line.

If HT'd done the Joe line, they'd already be finished with it and we'd have likely only gotten Snake Eyes, Stormshadow, Duke and CC before their ADHD kicked in and they ran to find some other underwhelming film to produce figures from. As far as Dragon, you're right. However, the annoying "click-click-click" every time one was posed would drive me crazy! :lol

:exactly:

SS needs to drop something big for this line next, a multipack or something out of left field would get the hype brewing again. If its just Stalker or Dusty next, Il be like yay, another 8 months till hes in hand and months of waiting for the next one

Thats what I'm saying... SSC definately needs some mulipacks to get this line some weight and shut the moaners up.

How about 2 multipacks? 1 Cobra and 1 Joe.

Tomax and Xamot and Zap and Grunt?

And make them affordable dammit!!!!!

:exactly:

While a Dreadnoks 2 or 3 pack would be cool, it doesn't really make sense because they are so unique they could be done in their own package.

So the savings on time and money on SSC's side by reusing certain parts screams for a 2 pack, and when the 2 figures are packed together I think from our side its understandable to reuse parts.

If SSC reused 80% of a figure to make Zap and Grunt 6 months apart, the second figure doesn't seem as cool.

While people are _____ing and moaning in the SW section about the new clone 2.5 pack, something like that on the GI JOE line would be amazing.

Zap and Grunt plus a larger scale accessory, eg a bunker wall.

Actually, instead of Grunt, make it Short-Fuze and call it the "Artillery 2 pack". Zap, Short-Fuze, and a small bunker or sandbag wall.

It might make sense to hold pre-orders for two similar figures at the same time, but if people don't want both, having to buy two near identical figures might not fly.

Tomax and Xamot notwithstanding. They would work.

I think there's enough love for the original 13 that if they made two fairly similar looking figures at once both would sell. This line works on several different levels but the biggest one is the nostaligia behind the brand.

But someone how SS cant figure this out :nana:

I actually think they should've started their line like Hasbro did back in the day, releasing the greenshirts first and a Commando Snake Eyes. Then maybe hooded CC as a Con Ex and Battle Helmet as a regular. The Troopers would've sold even faster as army builders with freaks looking to even out the display with Cobras. Additionally, not only would we be excited at figuring out which figure from the follow-up wave was coming first, but the momentum would've likely built just the same as back when Hasbro did it.

:exactly: There's something very nostalgic about my Cobra Commander, Cobra Trooper and Cobra officer shelf since those were the first Cobra figures I owned as a kid. It would have been just as awesome to have a shelf of Commando Snake-Eyes, Stalker and Scarlett.... Hopefully they're coming.

Green shirts would be awesome too.... Maybe include an extra sweaters with red collars and cuffs? I always dug that look in the comics.:lol

Really sucks we went Joe less again this newsletter.

I'm sitting here snacking on a chocolate doughnut and Fanta grape soda at work, so invariably I'm thinking about some Deadnok figurs...after Zartan, of course.

Agreed. Follow through on producing green shirts at $79.99 (remember when SSC announced that as the starting price for the Joes?) and they would have sold. It would have been nice if they delayed the release of spandexed 1985 Snake Eyes until they had a beefier body anyway.

Yeah I was still hoping for a helmeted/face plate CC, and a viper would have been awesome, but now I'll just be happy if I see more Cobras...heres hoping for more Joes all around though.

Who would want one twin but not the other?

Who wouldn't want the 3 main Dreadnoks?

Tomax and Xamot 2 pack is a no brainer for Sideshow....

the 3 main dreadknocks must get made too...

The reason I always say 2 pack is because I have this fantasy that by combining them they would actually be cheaper. :lol:lol:lol

I did say it was a fantasy. I doubt the historical data would support it (though if you look back on what different etailers are currently asking for their ROTS Sideous/Palpatine pack its almost as cheap as 1 figure...haha).
