I am not sure this works as sarcasm. I, for one, while certinly wanting more Joes, would find that to at least be a silver lining in the No Joe cloud.

As sad as this fact is, the Star Wars prequels are far more popular than GI Joe. It makes economic sense for Sideshow to focus on the associated characters from these movies and their comic, videogame, and cartoon spinoffs. I'm sure there are Ewok, Wookie, and Jar Jar Jedis, Jabba the Hut's girlfriend (as a Jedi), "evil" Jedi R2-D2, about 100 more multi-colored Django Fett clones, etc. that are more a priority for Sideshow than Zartan could ever hope to be.

Dude your list cracked me up. I'm sure we'll even see some "hot" Hutt females in the new SW maquette line (as Jedis of course.) And CW did give us an evil R2 unit (Gold Dome or whatever his name was.) Great fodder as an accessory for the first Clone five-pack.
