I was just thinking that while looking at that picture.
I definitely see what your saying about the AT vibe. GI Joe and MOTU had the best vintage toy art imo.

Don't look at it like that...
You've gotta stop thinking of them as Hasbro 3 3/4" toys. All the sculpted goodness on those figures would be actual accessories. Wild Bill would have a knife sheathed on the right side of his vest, a .45 on his left, six guns strapped to his thighs, removable glasses and cowboy hat, etc... Wild Weasel would fall into the same category. Ace could be a little light, but likely the detailed flight suit and helmet would make up for that.

I think they'll do Wild Bill at the very least. He was one of the more prominent characters back in the old 'toon, and a fan favourite. Mando basically proved how awesome he could look.
That Wild Weasel is fantastic, btw, but I'm sure he's low on Sideshow's list of priorities... I still think Ace is a no-brainer, though. Might be hard to deck him out, but he'd look great on the shelf. Besides, would anyone complain if he was $90 instead of $120?

I just watched "Nightmare Assault." Dr. Mindbender pulls a Nightmare on Elmstreet/Dreamscape and attacks the Joe team through their dreams but Low-Light has had nightmares his whole life and is able to take control of them and kick Mindbender's ass. A pretty cool episode that makes me really hope to see him in this line at some point. Just an awesome design all around.

Yeah, its cool to go back and see how certain episodes were influenced by other popular 80's movies of the time. And they obviously enjoyed the opportunity to actually have characters get "killed" throughout that episode.
