I'll dig him out of storage at some point and take a pic of him. I can assure you that neither H.G. Wells nor a flux capacitor are involved.
cool...
i'd love to see the pics...
if it really is a variant of some sort you may also want to let Yojoe.com know about it...
a couple of questions though...
did you buy it new... on card?
was it the later version packaged with the Mission Orders: Desert Recon set?
because that set came out in 2003 and opens up the possibility of accidentally getting a storm shadow forearm included in the mix...
i'm betting it was either a factory error or a running production change of some sort... maybe the in factory overlap for the firefly and the ninja showdown sets is more than it seems from the release dates...
either way, it appears that most of the figures did not come with an arashikage tattoo.
You forgot: '' God's an Astronaut...''
Nightbreed..
I think today is our last crack at this before SDCC, nothing tonight means a longggggggggggggggg wait

It was the solo Firefly that came out in the Spy Corps line in 2002 and was purchased MIB from TRU. I didn't pick up the Ninja Showdown set until it was clearanced at TRU a couple years later in 2004/5.
I inquired about your arashikage firefly among the hasbro experts over on the trenches forum and someone suggested that this may be the body you are talking about...
https://www.yojoe.com/12inch/04/images/kamakurabody.shtml
it's the body from the 2004 kamakura figure and shares the same head sculpt with the firefly figure (painted differently though)
could that be the one???
