U know to stir things up a bit, I think a lot of GI JOE fans would love if they made a 1/6 Chuckles but I wouldn't.

I have the 3 3/4 figure and to honest he looks really dorky.

Is he awesome in the comics, I may a lil cartoon bias :naughty

Supposedly in the cartoon though he's like mega strong.

Okay, I finally dug up Lonnie's transcript from the Fantacular Chat. Here is the pertinent stuff...

[17:43] IrishJedi: Hey, Brant... how about a hint to one of the next G.I. JOE figures on the horizon (one that isn't Scar)??

[17:44] SideshowBrant: Irish - a hint, eh?

[17:44] IrishJedi: yes... at least a hint

[17:45] SideshowBrant: Irish - well, the next announcement will be a Joe.

[17:53] furystorm: How many Joe figures will be revealed at SDCC?

[17:54] SideshowBrant: fury - likely one, and maybe something special to work as a companion piece?

I am going to assume that the JOE he's talking about is Duke, but I can't imagine what a "companion piece" to him would be. If we're lucky, maybe the plan was originally to announce Duke before SDCC and then another new figure at SDCC with said companion piece? If that's the case, then we might see more than one new 1:6 figure at SDCC. But I'm not holding my breath.

Chuckles is the ^^^^^!

He's a HUMINT agent - he makes more sense being on the Joe team than 90% of 'em. The cartoon movie (his only appearance, being an '87 guy) relegated him to the new "strong guy", which is pretty stupid.

I'm not a huge comics fan, but I know there's a current IDW story about him that's supposed to be pretty hard core.

Chuckles gets a lot of flak for his Hawaiian shirt. Personally, I like it, but yeah, it's too bad he didn't get a Night Force version or something as well.

Duke and the JUMP :monkey1 :google :monkey5 :chew :banana

It's so good that he went from one of my least favorite characters to one of my favorite within 3 issues.

I'll have to pick it up when it hits TPB.

Personally, I'm glad there are no Joes for a while. This summer has KILLED my wallet... well, more like my credit card!

And now, I just bought a Terrordrome from a guy on Hisstank.com - mint, unused stickers. Cost me a pretty penny, but... it's the Terrordrome.

Still debating about the Joe Con... not sure I can handle it right now... :(
