Yesterday's Ask Sideshow confirmed that the Baroness woun't be the first female figure.

"Baroness will not be the *first* female to be released in the GI Joe line, but she is high on the list!"

Most likely Scarlett, and with her ties to Snake Eyes, makes the most sense.

Are there going to be any of the women of GI Joe making their debut in the next year or so? Baroness and Scarlett seem like pretty safe bets.

We do have plans for the lovely ladies of the Joe universe, but it’s uncertain if they’ll appear within the 2010 12-inch line-up. Keep your fingers crossed!

Still, there is a chance they they won't make it past the development phase.

right because i seem to remember them saying that they were also working on a joe figure that would require tweeking the pro body as well to make it bigger. Niether beach or firefly would need that but somebody like roadblock would so there are at least 3 in development

Duke is on one of those bodies. If you look at the SDCC promo pics, you can see where they painted the gray extension pieces flesh tone, so that's who they very well could've meant. They also said Dooku is in production so he may be on the tall one.

They said they were gonna focus on the Joes for a bit so I think it's gonna be a Joe. It'd be nice to see a Roadblock or a Stalker, Gung Ho would also go well on that body, but I'm betting we see Beachhead next.
