Sneak Peek had the worst card art of all, IMO, with his rosy cheeks, and double chin. Not to mention his "special kid" helmet and his chest padding that went down to his crotch...

His one saving grace was his M-16 with a sling. I loved all the Joe figures that had slinged weapons.

My god man, that is too funny! The art is terrible for a joe. Sorry Mando, I don't think Sneak peek will make the cut for being perceived as a fat, gay perv who rode the short bus with a helmet and crotch armor on while he licked the windows.

Speaking of Hasbro employees, does anybody know if one specific artist/employee was responsible for the card art of every figure?

Yes. They talked briefly about it on a documentary posted on the Joe Con website how a majority of the likenesses were based off of Hasbro personnel. I don't remember where it is, but I'm sure someone else knows.

I take that Stephen King line with a grain of salt. At one point the urban legend was that King's son actually wrote the filecard for Crystal Ball whereas now they say that King himself invented the character.

'87 is definitely my least favorite year of the 1980's Joes. However, it's stuck in between two really solid years.

Snowball's chance. Firefly would be a nice surprise but I seriously doubt they'll reveal/PPO the Qtr. 2 figure this early.

I actually like the figure, even though the card art makes him look like a chubby-faced kid. I still need the Night Force and European Tiger Force versions of Sneak Peek, anyone have 'em???
