Why do most, seemingly hate Serpentor? I admit I don't like the lame origin they came up with in creating him but he is a cool character outside of that.

I think Evil was making the comparison that Serpentor would fit in the Halloween Spooktacular theme because he is made from a amalgamation of parts like Frankenstein's Monster was (though not literally like Frankenstein).

I liked Serpentor a lot as a kid but the appeal kind of died with youth. I think he catches a lot of flak from the Joe comic craowd as Hasbro pretty much made Hamma use him just to sell toys. While the story arc was pretty cool but as a character Serpy could be a little over the top. Regardless I think he'd make for a pretty cool 1/6 figure.
