Walter got kidnapped in the last episode of the season and they took all those pieces of regrown brain matter from a bunch of crazy people that then made them sane and turns out the pieces were all from Walter's brain. they put them back in to help him remember how to recreate the door to the alternate universe. Oh yeah the head they were looking for they finally found and brought the guy back to life. At the end he got sliced in half when he didn't make it all the way through the portal.

John Noble as Walter Bishop is one of the best characters on TV. I fraken love Fringe......

I stopped about 10 episodes into the new season it was just sooooooo boring.

I liked how in this weeks episode, only Walter was affected by the Nazis genetic weapon and not Peter.

that was specific to Walter since he had broken into Walter's apartment and stolen his sweater to make the biological weapon in the basement lab

I thought it would be specific to relatives like in the first attack. Guess I was wrong then.
