The daughter thing wasn't meant to be a surprise - they telegraphed it from the very first shot. Her hair style alone told you who she was supposed to be. And she did a FANTASTIC job in giving little Olive-isms. Just her reactions as they got ready to get her parents out of amber was perfect.

Wouldn't it be funny if Walter clones Bellie and they cast Zachary Quinto?

Even though it was obvious that she was the daughter of Olivia and Peter, I thought the final scene between Etta and Peter was fantastic.

Last night's episode "Letters In Transit" again shows that Fringe is one of the best pieces of American television of the last decade. This episode from the writing to the directing to the acting was off the charts. Every beat was hit and the ending was especially touching if not a bit haunting. Easily one of the best episodes of the series but boy oh boy don't I tend to say that about so many of them when it comes to this series.

Here's my two cents after watching the promo for next week's episode--I think David Robert Jones is actually trying to prevent the future we saw in 2036. I don't know how. I'm just going to go with my gut on this one.

Eh. I was a little luke warm about the episode. I guess I like Peter and Olivia too much and missed them. I wonder what Bell did to Olivia.

Excellent theory!

Oh, and glad to hear it was renewed! I'm kinda glad it was given that definitive 13 episode deal. Hopefully they will tie up all loose ends and end the series feeling like a complete story.

I was so thrilled and excited about season 5 I made the fringe team in Lego.

Wow, great and depressing episode last night. The performances were so great, especially John Noble.

We'd never really seen them play against themselves and the subtleties of character were so great, you could tell Walter from Walternate just by looking at them. And his expression when he saw Peter was still there - priceless.

Did the show conclude the story arc of the other side, we will no longer see them anymore?

That's the impression they gave. It was very much a "farewell" kind of send off. Although with Jones still out there - who knows?
