If you get on the WL you may get a conversion, and then if you didn't like it you could just sell it.

Surprised nobody is talking about Gwen. I always see this thread and the MJ one bumped up, but never Gwen... That's a very interesting statue with the rain and the umbrella. Would have expected some discussion on the piece.

I think it just doesn't seem to be as prominent a the Spidey and MJ comiquettes. It's a nice statue but I'm not a fan of the rain drops nor her head pose, sooner she was looking up.

I really like the Gwen statue but I had to drop my order because my PO list is getting to congested. I really wish SS would make some villains like Venom & Goblin to add to the line but isn't the line stopping after black cat? Shame if it is but Spidey & MJ will make a great display if so

For a lot of guys the face doesn't work, and in my mind is kind of ugly. So since she has BUTTER face no one is a talking. Heck some guys have gone as far as saying the raindrops look like sperm... Lol

Of the three displayed at SDCC, I loved the Gwen statue in person the most. The rain actually works. It would be cool if you have a light over it, since the reflection will bounce off the falling rain drops (they're translucent).

Yeah that's true and her eyes are closed which seem to have turned people off but i get it's part of the whole pose and expression and feel to it

Feel the same way. Wish she had her eyes open. The rest of the statue is so awesome and I feel like they ruined her face. I love the flow of it the paint and the the way the rain works so well (I know not everyone likes that, just my opinion)
